The chapter also outlines who the major digital disruptors are and what forces are driving their successes, noting that today's consumer is an essential piece in the business model puzzle that is today's globalised environment. Primarily, through concrete examples of major companies, such as Kodak and Blockbuster, the book describes negative lessons of industries' failure to address disruption and underlines the importance of adaptability to change.

Equities may also be termed as shareholder’s equity that make the holder an owner of corporate equity and empower him to vote in the annual general meeting of the company. Equity, both in its common and preferred form, is used by investors to understand risk and reward patterns in order to identify and minimize losses, and equally, to maximize gains. Relative to the risk-return trade off, this paper seeks to examine the Indian and Nepali banking equities performance. Currently the banking industry holds a large part of the GDP of the two trading partners; in Nepal it accounts for 18% and in India it accounts for 7.7%. Nepal is a very import oriented economy and the most part of this import money is made through remittances while India has diverse industries that constitute its economy. The empirical analysis is based on the five selected commercial banks; three banks from BSE Bankex of India and two banks from NEPSE Banking Sub–Index of Nepal based on market capitalization. Employing the historical data of five years (from April 2017 to March 2022), it can use Mean, Standard Deviation, Correlation, Regression, and ANOVA to make analysis. Analysis reveals that Indian banking equities exhibit better returns than the Nepali equities over the comparable period. Annualized returns help identify benchmark banks including ICICI Bank and NIC Asia Bank. However, there is more risk in Indian equities because they offer the capacity of higher returns. Thus, the Nepali banking equities have lower risk but produce only mediocre returns with several banks even negative returns. Indian banks provide much better investment opportunities and higher returns even though they are more risky. It helps investors determine profitable equities based on thorough risk-return assessments for equities.

Future Proofing Emerging Technologies for Business Transformation, 2025
The chapter tracks the historical development of AI together with Blockchain and IoT technologies which are now consumer-oriented digital disruptors that modify customer experiences. Throughout their development this chapter shows that empowerment, personalization, trust, and connectivity emerged as central features. AI establishes smarter automated systems which help the users with their consumer needs. The secure transparent procedures of Blockchain enable everyone to trust its reliable systems. Through IoT the components of our world maintain automatic real-time connections to perform harmonious continuous operations. New advances create market disruption that enables customers to enjoy expanded streaming, crypto and smart home system options. Better customer experience exists in the market but privacy as well as scalability and ethical factors need resolution. The model understanding between consumers and technology provides essential tactical knowledge to both businesses and digital market regulators.

This research investigates cybercriminal methods in online gaming platforms through strategic analyses of their methods as well as their social effects and legal defensive measures together with user actions on betting platforms. The research investigates cybersecurity risks directed at Gen Z and millennials between 15-25 years through virtual gaming platforms by examining account breaches and other forms of fraud together with unethical advertising practices. The research incorporates 343 valid factor analysis tests conducted with SPSS 25.0 which evaluated the implementation of Indian cyber laws such as the IT Act 2000. The investigation demonstrates that virtual gaming services function as ideal cybercriminal targets because they create financial damage and legal complications along with moral issues. Addiction combined with the temptation of obtaining “free money” engages users while advertising strategies of betting companies elevate potential dangers which results in trust loss and increases social responsibility factors. Some researchers combine security with behavioral and legal practices to show why better security measures and player protection matter and how to boost user awareness. The study brings together developers and experts from cybersecurity with law enforcement for understanding the social effects of internet gambling while building user responsibility.
