  • Smart Battery Energy Management System Using Bi-Directional DC-DC Converter

    This paper describes the modeling and simulation of a non-isolated bidirectional DC-DC converter for the charging and discharging of a NiMH battery powered by a solar photovoltaic (PV) system. During daylight, the solar power is converted and is given to the battery for charging in buck mode, efficiently storing excess energy. In absence of in order to provide a steady DC voltage to the load at night, the converter uses the battery's energy to operate in boost mode. The converter enables bidirectional power flow with voltage stability and efficient energy conversion in both the modes. The system has been simulated with MATLAB/Simulink, with simulations carried out to examine voltage response, load regulation, and mode switching. The results show a stable voltage output as well as low ripple under different conditions. Compared to the existing systems, the proposed system shows a 30% improvement in power quality, mainly due to lower voltage fluctuations and a better transient response, and hence can be used in standalone renewable energy systems.

    A robust reference tracking control of a hypersonic flight (HF) is. The flight dynamics are locally linearized for simplifying the design simulation. In the occurrence of disturbances, controller design is a difficult challenge to ensure tracking performance. First, traditional - tracking control is used to gain control. To improve the tracking effectiveness of the system, the receding horizon method is paired with - tracking control. Simulations for conventional - tracking control and Receding horizon- (RH-) control were run, and the findings show that the preceding horizon technique performs better in terms of tracking.

    Nowadays, increasing numbers of malicious programs are becoming a serious problem, which increases the need for automated detection and categorization of potential threats. These attacks often use undetected malware that is not recognized by the security vendor, making it difficult to protect the endpoints from viruses. Existing methods have been proposed to detect malware. However, as malware variations develop, they can lead to misdiagnosis and are difficult to diagnose accurately. To address this problem, in this work introduces a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) to identify the malware or benign based on extract features using Information Gain Absolute Feature Selection (IGAFS) technique. First, Malware detection dataset is collected from kaggle repository. Then the proposed pre-process the dataset for removing null and noisy values to prepare the dataset. Next, the proposed Information Gain Absolute Feature Selection (IGAFS) technique is used to select most relevant features for malware from the pre-processed dataset. Selected features are trained into Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) method to classify as malware or not with better accuracy and false rate. The experimental result provides greater performance compared with previous methods.
