Dr Seila Rojas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from UFMS - Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2002), a Master's Degree in Applied Physics from IFSC - Institute of Physics of São Carlos, USP (2005) and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from USP - University of São Paulo in São Carlos (2010) with a Post-doctorate at Iowa State University - IA-USA (2018). She is currently an associate professor of Physics at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) and actually the Dean of Research and Graduate Office at UFGD. She has experience in Physics, with an emphasis on optical and spectroscopic properties of condensed matter; other interactions of matter with radiation and particles, participating mainly in the following topics: glasses and glass-ceramics, thermoluminescence, radiation dosimetry and thermal properties of vitreous materials and also dental resins.
