: The bioconvective flow in nanofluid presents significant attention in biomedical as well as microfluidic technologies due to its potential in enhancing biosensing and targeted drug delivery accuracy. The present analysis is intended for the bioconvection of a two-phase modelled micropolar nanofluid consisting of microorganisms over a spinning needle, where the integration of Brownian motion and thermophoresis plays an important role in the flow phenomena. Additionally, the role of the Hall current and the influence of Joule and Darcy dissipation on the flow of a conducting fluid within a permeable medium significantly affect the flow behavior. The insertion of gyrotactic microorganisms induces bioconvective motion, which enhances the uniformity of the particles and prevents agglomeration. The governing mathematical model, presenting the flow patterns, is transmuted into the standard dimensionless model by exploiting similarity conditions, and further, shooting, accompanied by the Runge-Kutta numerical technique, is used in handling the model. The comparative analysis with the earlier investigation is obtained numerically, which validates the current methodology in particular cases. The results reveal that Hall and magnetic field interactions significantly influence the azimuthal velocity, while Joule and Darcy dissipation increase the thermal boundary layer thickness. - Stochastic and fractional-order techniques for dynamics and stability of bi-enzymatic cooperative chemical reactions

The model is developed and trained using the computed data to forecast both the comparative representations of velocity and thermal outlines are provided to demonstrate the impact of distinct flow-controlling parameters on the system’s behavior. The ANN employs a Levenberg backpropagation algorithm achieving high prediction accuracy with minimal mean square error. The ANN model, precisely predicted the axial, transverse, and temperature profiles with very low validation errors of 1.0947×10⁻⁷, 9.4038×10⁻¹¹, and 2.0535×10⁻⁸, respectively. The gradient values of 1.4505, 9.227×10⁻⁸, and 9.8642×10⁻⁸ demonstrate fast convergence and strong model stability. Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate heat transfer enhancement in a complex porous enclosure under local thermal and magnetic controls, considering thermal nonequilibrium between the fluid and solid matrix and the influence of micropolar nanofluid behavior. Design/methodology/approach A numerical model is developed for an inclined porous enclosure with irregular wavy sidewalls, two nonfacing moving walls and an internally heated cylinder. The enclosure is partially subjected to a magnetic field and partial heating. The working fluid is a micropolar nanofluid, and additional effects such as chemical reaction, thermal radiation and internal heat generation/absorption are included. The governing equations are solved using the control volume method coupled with a novel point-in-polygon (PIP) technique to accurately identify irregular computational domains. Response surface methodology (RSM) is used to optimize the Nusselt numbers of both fluid and solid phases. Findings The results show that enlarging the magnetic field region significantly suppresses flow circulation and microrotation, with an approximate reduction of 11.3% as the magnetic width increases from 0.2 to 0.8. Increasing the inner cylinder radius further obstructs shear flow, reducing circulation and microrotation by about 18.7%. For the fluid phase, optimal heat transfer is achieved at B = 0.2000, AB = 0.5808 and Re = 100, yielding a maximum predicted Nusselt number of 12.6621. Originality/value This study introduces a combined partial magnetic–partial heating strategy in an irregular porous enclosure using a novel PIP-based numerical framework. The findings provide valuable insights for optimizing heat transfer in advanced thermal systems involving porous media and micropolar nanofluids. - A numerical analysis of the magnetohydrodynamic mixed convection hybrid nanofluid flow over a Bi-directional extending sheet subject to slip conditions

This work investigates a novel analysis of a hybrid nanofluid flow over a vertical extending surface subject to the magnetic field, mixed convection, Joule heating and thermal radiation effects. The research addresses a vertical gap in the literature by incorporating the CattaneoChristov heat flux model to capture thermal relaxation time effect, a feature often neglected in the previous analyses of MHD flows with buoyancy. The resulting system in dimensionless form is handled numerically using the bvp4c technique, allowing detailed evaluation of temperature patterns, flow characteristics, and heat transfer performance under varying physical conditions. This analysis reveals that, both the velocities augment for progression in mixed convection factor while decline with surge in magnetic factor. Primary velocity declines while secondary velocity augments for higher stretching factor. Thermal profiles augment with growth in magnetic factor, radiation factor and Eckert numbers along x- and y-axes while decline with surge in thermal slip factor, thermal relaxation time factor and mixed convection parameter. Comparison of current results with established dataset has conducted, with a strong consistency across all findings that confirms the reliability and validity of the present results. In non-Newtonian fluid, Marangoni convection shows its vital role in diversified areas such as industrial and biomedical applications, like drug delivery systems. The study examines the behavior of buoyant forces, i.e., the combination of thermal and solutal buoyancy vis-a-vis activation energy on the Marangoni convection of tangent hyperbolic fluid incorporating the CattaneoChristov heat and solutal flux model, which extends the elegant Fourier and Fick's laws. The impact of magnetization in a permeable material, along with the interpretation of radiating heat and elastic deformation, is assumed in the present article. A mathematical framework is developed for the proposed assumptions, and the coupled nonlinear non-dimensional equations are obtained by utilizing similarity rules. Additionally, the numerical method, i.e., Runge-Kutta shooting technique, is adopted to compute the solution set for the requisite factors involved in the flow phenomena. The physical analysis of these attributes is presented via graphical representation, and the numerical results of the engineering coefficients are depicted in tabular form following validation of the results with earlier investigation. An outstanding result reveals that thermal relaxation suppresses heat transfer, but enhancing solutal relaxation delays mass diffusion.
