The best way to present a floating photovoltaic (FPV) system would be to recognize the increasing demand for renewable energy sources and the challenges faced by traditional land-based solar systems, including limited space and the astronomical costs of installation. One of the possible solutions to these problems is FPV systems, which use water surfaces as a place to install solar panels, such as lakes, reservoirs, and ponds. The research paper will help optimize the energy collection process for FPV systems by developing an Improved Perturb and Observe (IP&O) algorithm with a dual-inductor boost converter (DIBC). This is aimed at precise monitoring of the peak power point, particularly under changing environmental conditions. The simulation results of the suggested MPPT approach in MATLAB/Simulink are consistent with those reported in the literature. The findings show that reaction time and overall functionality of the FPV system improved significantly, highlighting the possible benefits of the IP&O algorithm for optimizing the energy output of floating solar arrays compared to the traditional MPPT approach.

Consuming fresh drupes, vegetables can help lower a chance of developing several chronic diseases. Unfortunately, the post-harvest life cycle's storage stage is where fruits and vegetables (FVs) lose the most of all the food that is produced annually. A failure to recognize important ambient environmental conditions when using cold storage seems to be the main causes of this elevated loss rate. The current monitoring systems for cold storage are only able to measure warmth and moistness and ignoring further crucial acceptable surrounding factors of radiance and gas quantity. Serious matter gets handled in order to lower the system’s harm degree. The real time intelligent monitoring and notification system (RT-IMNS) for icy container is described briefly in the paper. It employs a device management platform (IoT)-enabled technique to continuously monitor hotness, comparative moisture, brightness, fume quantity and alert staff when dangerous thresholds are reached.

This study involves a comparative evaluation of the performance of a traditional 0.25 kW vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT), and a modern highway-mounted helical-blade VAWT, designed to operate as a decentralized power source. The suggested design includes a helical-blade design, which is streamlined to utilize turbulent and low-altitude wind velocities that define the highway conditions. Computational modeling and analytical determination of the power coefficient were carried out in the wind speeds between 2 to <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$14 ~\mathrm{m} / \mathrm{s}$</tex> to assess aerodynamic performance. It is found that the designed design achieves a greater maximum power coefficient (<tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathrm{C}_{\mathrm{p}}=0.27$</tex>) and greater overall increase in efficiency (25% on average) compared to the traditional model. This increase is attributed to the fact that the uniformity of the flow is improved, the interference of wakes is reduced, and the production of torque remains constant due to the form of the helical blade. The results confirm the viability of highways corridors as potential micro- wind energy areas, which will provide a sustainable method of distributed renewable energy production and will supply future smart transportation systems.

This research investigates the conductivity measurement of Schottky source/drain GaNFinFET for the detection of breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231). The fabricated GaNFinFET devices exhibit desirable electrical performance, enabling sensitive detection of conductivity changes associated with cancer cells. Through experimental analysis, we elucidate the sensing mechanism involved, including capacitive effects, charge injection, and biomolecular adsorption. Conductivity measurements reveal significant increases in conductivity values when cancer cells are present compared to control experiments. Statistical analysis confirms the reliability and significance of the observed conductivity changes. Compared to existing techniques, the GaNFinFET-based conductivity measurement offers advantages such as high sensitivity, specificity, cost-effectiveness, and rapid detection. The findings highlight the potential of this technique for early breast cancer cell detection, facilitating timely interventions and improved patient outcomes. Future research should focus on validation with different cell lines and patient samples, optimizing experimental variables, and exploring integration with microfluidics and lab-on-a-chip platforms. The GaN FinFET-based technique holds promise as a sensitive and accessible diagnostic tool for breast cancer detection.

Roadside and landscape shrub maintenance is a labor-intensive and time-consuming process that requires precision, uniformity, and safety. Conventional trimming methods rely on manual tools and operators, leading to inconsistent results, high labor costs, and increased risks of fatigue or injury. To overcome these limitations, this paper presents the design and development of an IoT-enabled Smart Shrub Trimming Bot that automates the trimming process and provides real-time monitoring and control. The proposed system consists of a mobile robotic platform equipped with an ESP8266 microcontroller for control, an ESP32-CAM for vision-based feedback, and DC motors for motion. A high-speed rotary cutting blade mounted on a linear actuator enables adjustable cutting height for shrubs of varying sizes. The system integrates Firebase as a real-time cloud database to facilitate remote control and live data synchronization. A React-based web interface allows the user to operate the bot using on-screen buttons or keyboard controls, while receiving live video feedback. The ESP32-CAM transmits images to an image processing module running YOLO and OpenCV, which detects obstacles and determines cutting feasibility. Commands and system status are updated in Firebase, ensuring synchronized operation between the bot and the user interface. The prototype was successfully fabricated and tested to validate movement control, trimming efficiency, and real-time responsiveness. The results demonstrate significant improvements in operational efficiency, safety, and consistency compared to manual trimming methods. Furthermore, the system is cost-effective, scalable, and adaptable for future enhancements, including fully autonomous navigation, GPS-based path planning, and AI-driven vision for branch detection. This work highlights the potential of IoT and automation in modern landscaping and urban vegetation management, providing a practical solution for government agencies, municipalities, and private organizations responsible for large-scale shrub maintenance.
