EDUCATION
Luana Moraes holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology at the Universidade Federal de Alfenas- UNIFAL (2017). She was a CAPES scholarship holder by the “Science without Borders” program at Missouri Western State University- Saint Joseph, Missouri (2014-2015). She has interniship in Production of veterinary vaccines at the company Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc (BIVI) - Saint Joseph, Missouri (2015). Internship in “Development of recombinant vaccines for leishmaniasis” at the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology- University of Miami, FL (2015). She conducted research in nanoparticles technology applied to the treatment of visceral leishmaniasis at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Microorganisms, UNIFAL (2016). She holds a Ph.D in Biotechnology” at the University of São Paulo (USP) with emphasis on recombinant BCG at Laboratory of Vaccines Development at Instituto Butantan - São Paulo.
