Tsunamis caused by volcanic eruptions have received less research, because of the intricacy of the generation and the rarity of their occurrence in the past. Frequency of occurrence of a volcanic event in the Pacific Rim and the ensuing harm to mankind, it is now vital to forecast the genesis and behavior of tsunamis caused by volcanic eruptions to avoid catastrophic destruction. Tsunami generation is modelled in this study using the eruption's impulse force and a flow rate comparison between the erupted materials and the seawater. The initiated tsunami wave propagation height is computed using the energy of displaced seawater, and the tsunami propagation phase is modelled using the Boussinesq approximation and solitary wave theory. The tsunami's phases are modelled for the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcanic eruption event in 2022, and the tsunami wave characteristics are projected to reach Nuku'alofa, Tonga's capital city. The wave height and travel time of the tsunami reaching the coast of Nuku'alofa are calculated as 0.8338 m and 19 minutes 34 seconds, therefore the tsunami hit Nuku'alofa at 04:46:34 UTC.

Healthcare data security is a pressing concern given the surge in data breaches, with over 750 incidents reported in 2021 alone, exposing more than 193 million personal records. This paper introduces an Efficient Data Security System that leverages smart contracts, WEB 3.0 deep learning algorithms, and blockchain technology to address these challenges. The system provides robust data protection by eliminating the need for encryption keys, utilizing blockchain for tamper-proof storage, and incorporating advanced deep learning algorithms for predictive analytics. The framework of WEB 3.0 integrates blockchain at the backend, ensuring secure and immutable data storage. Smart contracts enable automated and transparent data access without compromising security. Additionally, the system utilizes the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) for efficient image storage and retrieval, enhancing data accessibility while maintaining cryptographic security. The integration of deep learning algorithms enables predictive analytics for medical conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and tumor detection, further enhancing the system's capabilities in healthcare data management and analysis.

In today's interconnected world, individuals' health and location data are often dispersed across multiple organizations, holding the potential to yield valuable insights when consolidated and analyzed. However, merging data from various hosting sites poses significant privacy risks, even when employing security measures. This project delves into a novel data-analytics platform designed to identify infectious disease geographic hotspots by combining and examining users' location and health data, housed separately in two distinct cloud environments. A core focus of the study is to evaluate the privacy implications of this platform employs a technology known as key-oblivious inner product encryption (KOIPE) mechanism. This encryption method ensures that only aggregated statistical data is disclosed to potential snooping entities, termed as honest-but-curious (HbC) entities. To fortify user confidentiality against potential inference attacks, a game-theoretic strategy is employed. This approach incentivizes consumers to collaboratively build anonymous clusters that support quantified privacy assurance. By addressing the intricate balance between data integration and privacy preservation, this project aims to pioneer a secure and privacy-centric approach to infectious disease surveillance. Through rigorous analysis and innovative methodologies, the platform seeks to empower public health authorities with actionable insights while safeguarding individual privacy rights, fostering trust, and promoting user engagement in health-related data sharing and analytics.
  • Computational Modelling of 2004 Off West Coast of Sumatra Earthquake-Tsunami Wave Propagation Using Two-Dimensional Cellular Automata in the Eastern Indian Coast
    E. Syed Mohamed, M. Yasmin Regina, S. Syed Abdul Syed
Journal of the Geological Society of India, 2024
The ability to detect destructive tsunamis and spare lives from serious harm has made the computation of tsunami wave dynamics increasingly important. The tremendous loss of life and property brought on by the 26th of December, 2004 tsunami has raised the demand for accurate and timely propagation of tsunami wave simulations. These days, a variety of early warning technologies and models are utilized to predict tsunami waves. The propagation phase of a tsunami wave is simulated using two-dimensional cellular automata of rectangular lattices in eight directions from this research. Modelling of the Sumatra-Andaman earthquake in 2004 to simulate the propagation of tsunami waves to strike the northern coasts of India. The earliest tsunami arrival time, travel time, and wave spread rate are determined from this study, and the results are verified using historical data.

Cardiovascular diseases continue to be a major concern in the global health forum which is estimated that they contribute to more than 60% of all yearly adult deaths in the world according to the World Health Organization. A heart’s inability to pump blood effectively results in high blood pressure, which exacerbates heart disease and raises the risk of sudden death. To meet this dire need, there is a need to come up with diagnostic systems that can be relied on to detect these diseases in the shortest time possible and with maximum accuracy. Such systems would therefore facilitate the treatment and check on persons, to ensure that they do not develop complications such as heart attacks. The use of Deep Learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) has demonstrated promise recently in this area and provides a range of advanced automated techniques for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of cardiac disorders. Specifically, the developed review aims to present an overview of the related detection techniques, features extraction process, commonly used datasets, and performance indices. Particularly, it analyzes cases like Cleveland Heart Disease data, MIT-BIH Arrhythmia data, Framingham Heart Study data, and so on. The study compares approximately 25 research papers with a focus on the methodologies, difficulties, and findings in terms of computational complexity, data demands, feature constraints, and model portability. As this research aims to fill the literature gaps, it also aims to provide a generalized solution for various issues in heart disease detection and healthcare results improvement.
  • Machine Learning-Based Cellular Automata Model and Frame Work for Tsunami Wave Propagation in Indian Coastal Region
Syed Mohamed E, Chithirai Pon Selvan M
2024 International Conference on Advances in Modern Age Technologies for Health and Engineering Science Amathe 2024, 2024
Simulating the spread of tsunami waves quantitatively holds significant importance in devising swift risk management strategies and implementing efficient solutions for predicting the earliest arrival time. One effective method for dynamically simulating the spatiotemporal evolution of complex systems is through the use of cellular automata (CA), making it a suitable choice for modeling the intricate process of tsunami wave propagation. Nevertheless, the phenomenon of tsunami wave propagation is intricately linked with numerous interdependent factors, rendering it too intricate for analysis using traditional approaches. In answer to this challenge, we present a brand-new method for simulating the propagation of tsunami waves called LSSVM-CA. In this novel method, we integrate a three-dimensional tsunami wave CA framework with least squares support vector machines (LSSVM). We can now take into account and examine how neighboring waves affect the propagation patterns thanks to this integration. Using a dataset derived from historical data, LSSVM is trained to create sophisticated state transformation rules for tsunami wave propagation. We compared the LSSVM-CA-simulated tsunami wave spread areas with the real observed tsunami wave spread areas in order to evaluate the efficacy of the model. The outcomes unequivocally show how well LSSVM-CA simulates tsunami wave propagation accurately calculates a probability of the waves spreading.
  • Computational Analysis of Tsunami Wave Run-Up by Implementation of TIMPULSE-SIM Model with Japan and Indonesian Seismic Tsunami
    M. Yasmin Regina, E. Syed Mohamed
Wseas Transactions on Environment and Development, 2024
The alternative newly developed TIMPULSE-SIM model is used for forecasting all three phases of seismic/earthquake-induced tsunami waves. The main objective of this modeling is to predict the earliest arrival time of tsunami with less computation time. This paper analyses the third phase or the run-up phase of tsunami. The assessment of tsunami wave run-up minimize the risk in coastal community due to the tsunami impact. The paper introduces a closed set of algebraic expressions for modeling the run-up phase and the reliability of the model is analyzed by implementing and testing of this model to the two major historical seismic tsunami are, 2004 Indonesian Subduction zone tsunami in Indian ocean region, 2011 Great east Japan tsunami in Pacific ocean region. From this study, this proposed model should be a good alternative to the existing model for applying to the real time tsunami event because it includes the nonlinearity and frequency dispersion of wave, and applied to both near and far field tsunamis, efficient to apply for a long duration, mainly the computation time is achieved in O(minutes). More than 90 percentage of accuracy achieved in this model by validating the simulated results with the historical and other existing model that emphasize the model’s reliability.
