Wemerson Daniel Correia dos Santos

Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Maranhão (2019), with a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Graduate Program in Chemistry at the Federal University of Maranhão (2022). Currently, a Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos. My research focuses on Advanced Porous Materials and Photocatalysis for environmental remediation. I have experience in developing heterogeneous porous materials for the photodegradation of emerging pollutants and the synthesis of heterogeneous noble metal nanoparticles supported on carbon for the electrooxidation of small organic molecules. Additionally, I have been involved in the development of analytical chemistry methodologies for the determination of organic pollutants in groundwater effluents.
