Dr. Som Nath Thakur
Dr. Som N Thakur, with a Ph.D. in Geography from Panjab University, specialises in studying the coupled human-environment system with reference to the North-western Himalayas. His research focuses on human-nature interactions, climate change, disaster management, land use and land cover science, sustainability, and development. Moreover, he proficiently applies geospatial data science, tools, and techniques to analyse the implications of human-environment interactions.
