This study focuses on predicting the adoption intention of ChatGPT among Professionals in Bangladesh. ChatGPT, powered by natural language processing and artificial intelligence, has the potential to revolutionize communication and enhance productivity in professional settings. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) is used as a theoretical framework to examine the variables that affect the adoption intention of ChatGPT. The study aims to understand the impact of attitude towards AI, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, trust, behavioral intention to use, and actual use of ChatGPT among Professionals in Bangladesh. The research questions explore the relationships between these variables. The objectives of the study are to examine the relationship between attitude towards AI and behavioral intention to use ChatGPT, investigate the impact of performance expectancy and effort expectancy on behavioral intention to use, explore the effect of social influence and facilitating conditions on behavioral intention to use, assess the relationship between hedonic motivation and behavioral intention to use, investigate the influence of trust on behavioral intention to use, and analyze the relationship between behavioral intention to use and actual use of ChatGPT. The findings provide valuable insights into the factors influencing the adoption intention and actual use of ChatGPT. The study highlights the significance of strengthening behavioral intentions, emphasizing performance benefits and building trust, and creating facilitating conditions to promote adoption and utilization. The research contributes to the understanding of factors influencing the adoption and usage behavior of ChatGPT and offers practical implications for organizations and policymakers to maximize the benefits of artificial intelligence applications in the context of Bangladeshi Professionals.

Contribution of energy towards sustainable development is uncontested. Since energy demand is increasing, and so does the concern about environment and climate change, renewable energy (RE) is being considered a tool to provide access to electricity and eradicate poverty. Even with progressive national economy in Bangladesh, majority of rural populations are deprived from grid electricity. Due to heavy investment needed in infrastructure development for grid connectivity, a promising alternative is renewable energy technology (RET) that caters power and energy need of non-electrified rural communities. This research investigates the barrier to RET growth for developing rural electrification and considers solar home system (SHS) a case. The study included non-parametric test and literature survey. Two dispersedly located villages from the districts of Noakhali and Sirajganj, were selected for the study. A total of 171 respondents were surveyed. The findings showed that people enjoying different modes of purchase for SHS: full cash payment and installment payment and identified usage constraints. Besides, demand-side and supply-side barriers were also identified which included lack of promotional activity, economic condition and lack of awareness along with financial barriers. Thus, insights from this research outlines policy framework for the widespread adoption of RET in off-grid regions.

Higher education institutions (HEIs) around the world tend to incorporate various online learning platforms, such as Moodle, Google Classroom, Blackboard, Canvas, Virtual University Expert System (VUES), with the aim of shaping academic activities, which are knowledge sharing and knowledge creating. Despite its numerous benefits and usefulness highlighted in literature, majority are hesitant and reluctant to use online learning platforms available in Bangladesh. Alternatively, scholars from diverse disciplines have identified the construct 'social influence' as a prevailing predictor of the variable 'behavioral intention' to adopt numerous online platforms: blogs, e-services, online game and the predictor, social influence, plays a substantial role in embracing online learning as well as communicating the usefulness of various e-learning platforms. The study, therefore, is spearheaded to ascertain the role of social influence in facilitating learners' behavioral intention to accept online learning and communicating the usefulness of the e-learning in Bangladesh. To manifest the effect that one variable has on another, the study analyzed data of one hundred respondents surveyed randomly and confirmed the existence of the significant relationships: social influence (SI) and behavioral intention (BI), social influence (SI) and perceived usefulness (PU) in facilitating online learning acceptance, which provides an outline to the educators to comprehend behavior of the learners. The result of the study may also assist the educators and administrators to devise useful initiatives to intensify penetration rate of using online learning within the institution in Bangladesh. The research further adds to the existing literature that explains adoption and acceptance behavior of online education.
