I am Full Professor in Latin Language and Literature at the University of Naples ‘Federico II’, where I also was Principal Investigator for the European Research Council-funded project PLATINUM (Papyri and LAtin Texts: INsights and Updated Methodologies. Towards a Philological, Literary and Historical Approach to Latin Papyri – ERC-StG 2014 no. 636983) and now lead an Italian PRIN. I held a post-doc position at the Institut de Recherche et d’Histoire des Textes (IRHT) in Paris and was a visiting fellow at Columbia University, New York University, the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa) and the Université de Paris Sorbonne. I published a number of articles and monographs, including 'Artes grammaticae in framment'i (De Gruyter 2015) and 'Fabellae' (De Gruyter 2017). I am the Editor of a 6-vols 'Corpus of Latin Texts on Papyrus', forthcoming with CUP (2024). My research-area focuses on a broad cultural approach to ancient textuality and on societal aspects of extant ancient Latin literature
