A Survey on the Pixel-Based Image Segmentation Techniques with the Intent of Optimization of System Throughput in the Field of Automation Ayesha Anjum, Maaz Ahmed, N R Deepak 2025 International Conference on Automation and Computation Autocom 2025, 2025 Semantic segmentation, being one of the Computer Vision approaches, helps in portioning every object in an image, which makes it a good candidate that can be used in various applications like Medical Imaging and Autonomous vehicles. In the Medical field, clear analysis of images like MRI, CT scan, provides the accuracy in identifying the issue and to give proper medications. In the similar way, the pel-based segmentation (semantic segmentation) when used in identifying the objects on roads to ease the driving process requires computations in a precise way and often tend to use neural networks. These networks perform well when the size and amount of data is less but when it comes to training high resolution and larger amounts of data, it results in reduced flexibility of the desired implementation, thereby reducing its efficacy. In this work, the insights of methods and techniques used in the process of semantic segmentation in automation and the medical field is reviewed with the objective of providing a precise summary of techniques that can be used for selecting the best method to achieve best results. The findings of the comparison study shows that the COCO dataset has a large number of images and when used with efficient network architecture with criteria to segment, it can outperform. The contribution of this survey in the field of semantic segmentation outperforms by providing the precise description of deep learning techniques, listing out the complexities and associated techniques to reduce them, and summarizing associated datasets. comparison analysis of techniques to achieve accuracy with less computations.

Using these technologies enables the real-time identification of suspicious behavior. Because human behavior is unpredictable, it is difficult to metamorphose between actions that are normal and suspicious. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are employed by this system to identify human movements into two categories: suspicious (e.g., fighting, and theft), and normal (e.g., sitting, walking, jogging, and hand waving). Following the use of sophisticated algorithms to derive high-level information from images, CNN processes the images through a sequence of classification layers. The last step is to employ the results from the pooling layer to make accurate predictions. Real Time Software Identifies Weapons (Guns, Knives) Real Time Through Cameras on Laptops& Desktops. Similarly to that, an attempt to develop an ML model that can identify human stress levels is made by analyzing the written records obtained from social media. This proposed system chooses a keyword-based method to detect a specific stress indicator statement and compare it with a given data set. The textual data are then preprocessed and vectorized based on the TFIDF method to detect meaningful patterns in the text data. The data were classified as stressed or non-stressed by a Random Forest Classifier with probabilities indicating the intensity of stress. To generate valuable insights by listening to the people's voices, which could help detect stress-based disorders in the early stages, this approach works with data obtained from online sources in compliance with ethical standards and general rule privacy. In conclusion, this study illuminates how AI-driven systems can enhance mental health awareness and intervention by implementing a holistic stress detection instrument using natural language processing approaches and machine learning methodologies.

A novel approach combining ResNet50 and VGG16 provides high accuracy in detecting diseases in crops such as cashew, tomato, cassava, and maize. By employing grouping techniques with tools like CNN, ResNeXt, and InceptionV3, the system turned out remarkably more effective by combining their individual strengths. To build trust, the research also incorporates explainable AI methods like S.H.A.P and L.I.M.E, which help farmers and experts understand how the AI arrives at its predictions. Incorporating weather data, such as temperature and humidity, further enhances the system’s accuracy, as these factors play a vital role in how diseases spread. This approach not only delivers accurate results but also emphasizes the importance of transparency in AI tools. By combining advanced technology with clear explanations, this study showcases how AI can help manage crop diseases sustainably, supporting farmers to ensure a stable food supply for the future. This unique method has the potential to change farming practices, reduce crop losses, and contribute to global food security.
