Arulmurugan, is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing Technologies, SRM INSTITUTE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY) in Tamilnadu, India. He completed his under graduate B.E in Pauls Engineering College under Anna University and M.Tech Information Security and Doctor of Philosophy from Pondicherry Engineering College under Pondicherry Central University. He is a member of ISTE and IAENG professional body and he has published more than 20 papers in international journals and conferences. His area of interest includes Wireless Sensor Networks, Data Mining Techniques and Cryptography

 Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering (6.7% CGPA) at Dr. Paul’s Engineering College, Pullichapallam,Villupuram District under Anna University during the academic year 2001-2005.
 Higher Secondary (78%) from ST. Anne’s Hr. Secondary School, Tindivanam under Tamilnadu State Board in the year of 2000.
 S.S.L.C (78.6%) from O.P.R Govt. Hr Secondary School, Omandur (Tindivanam) under Tamilnadu State Board in the year of 1998.
