  • Cardiac Waveform Inspired Optimized Key Generation Technique ROLE for SAFED to Secure Medical IoT Data Transmission
    Sanjeev Kumar A N, Ramesh Naik B
Journal of Internet Services and Information Security, 2025
The Signal Apex Follower Encryption Decryption (SAFED) approach addresses the confidentiality issues of the IoT device data and employs a persistent security mechanism for the data under transmission. The adaptability of the SAFED approach is evident from the initial stage of cardiac waveform signal (ECG) processing with the Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter to obtain the fine-tuned ECG signal. The obtained signal is subjected to generating a Binary Sequence, ECG features are extracted through DB4, and an enhanced binary sequence quality conversion mechanism empowered with a ROLE hashing technique to generate a hash value as the private key for the encryption. With this private key and the Binary sequence of P-peaks, the SAFED algorithm encrypts the patient's medical record to ensure secure data transmission across the network. The SAFED performance is articulated from Binary Sequence Generation to key employment for Encryption and Decryption. The technique's overall performance ensures greater data security over communication and ease of adaptability for resource-constrained real-time applications with optimized key size and reduced encryption and decryption time.

A concept map is a graphical tool used to organize and represent knowledge or information visually. It consists of a collection of concepts or ideas that are linked together by relationships or connections to form a structured and hierarchical representation of a subject or topic. A concept map can be used to show the relationships between ideas, identify patterns, and clarify complex information. It is commonly used in education, research, and problem-solving to help individuals better understand and visualize information. The graph's entropy serves as a useful indicator of how accurately it represents the document. This study explains how to construct a concept map from the document's sentences by using a tree-based convolution neural network to extract key concepts. The use of latent relations based on a shared word embedding representation of concepts enables the removal of duplication and the efficient organization of concepts. This leads to a more precise, concise, and unambiguous concept map. The paper also describes the modifications made to the concept map and the additional data incorporated into it. By utilizing the latent semantic structure and hierarchical linkage of ideas and by adding significant information to the concepts themselves, the information content of the concept map is improved.
  • VIHS with ROTR Technique for Enhanced Light-Weighted Cryptographic System
    Sanjeev Kumar A N, Ramesh Naik B
International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications, 2022
—Developing a bypass parallel processing block is one of the emerging and exciting research areas in the system encrypt/decrypt application areas. A Partial Pseudo-Random- based Hashing VIHS is the most suitable methodology for designing the system to encrypt/solve a block in cryptography. For this purpose, various VIHS and register techniques have been developed to process the storage system data. But, it is limited by the problems of reduced efficiency, increased computational complexity, high area consumption, and cost consumption. Thus, this research intends to develop a novel dynamic system register with hashing with optimal Hash Signature design to process the system’s encryption /decrypt data. The main intention of this paper is to analyze the transfer characteristics of the current based on the pseudo-differential pair for a proficient system detection. Then, a system window can be created and adjusted to obtain an optimized power flow with less data loss sensitivity. The major stages involved in the proposed block design are register, partition design, and VIHS design. The dynamic system register is designed at first for getting a fast decision and to enable a low input-referred offset value. Then, the partition is formed concerning the output of the register, and the VIHS is used to produce the high proportional logical work. During performance evaluation, various measures have been utilized to analyze the performance of the proposed dynamic system register-based hashing with optimal Hash Signature design. In addition to that, the estimated results are compared with the proposed technique to prove its efficiency.

Keeping track of employee attendance in academic settings can be a difficult task. It frequently wastes a significant percentage of the category’s productive time when done manually. In this study, the OpenCV open-source image processing library presents an effective Raspberry Pi-based methodology that reduces product cost and aids in connecting to heterogeneous devices for attendance. When teaching and testing and collecting employee photos and taking attendance, the system delivers a user-friendly interface that maximizes the user experience. Face detection and recognition are done with LBP histograms, and the database is updated with SQLite (a lightweight version of SQL for the Raspberry Pi) rather than MySQL.
