Navleen Multani is Associate Professor in English, Head, School of Languages, and Director, Public Relations at Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala (India). She is Area Editor with Oxford Online Bibliographies: Literary and Critical Theory. She is a postgraduate in English from Panjab University, Chandigarh and holds PhD in English Literature and Language from Punjabi University Patiala (Punjab, India). She specializes in theories of resistance and Indian writings. She has been conferred with Outstanding Woman Researcher in English Literature Award 2024.
She is Chairperson, Board of Studies; member of Academic Council and Research Committee at Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala.
