Securing healthcare data: A federated learning framework with hybrid encryption in cluster environments C Srivenkateswaran, A Jaya Mabel Rani, R Senthil Kumaran, R Vinston Raja Technology and Health Care, 2025 The study's novel contribution is the development and evaluation of a hybrid encryption scheme combining Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) with the Serpent symmetric encryption algorithm, demonstrating enhanced security and performance for safeguarding healthcare data in cluster environments while ensuring scalability, interoperability, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. The primary objectives include assessing the suitability of the ECC-Serpent hybrid encryption for safeguarding healthcare data, ensuring the scalability and interoperability of this encryption solution with existing healthcare systems, and implementing secure communication channels within cluster environments. The combination of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and the Serpent algorithm leverages ECC's efficient key management and Serpent's robust symmetric encryption to provide enhanced security and performance, ensuring scalable and resilient data protection in cluster environments. This hybrid approach addresses both key distribution efficiency and high encryption strength, which are critical for securing sensitive healthcare data. This hybrid approach addresses key distribution efficiency and high encryption strength, which are critical for securing sensitive healthcare data. The study employs a hierarchical key management strategy, utilizing ECC for secure key exchange and distribution, paired with regular key rotation and storage practices to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the ongoing protection of sensitive healthcare data. Overall, the research underscores the critical need for healthcare organizations to adhere to HIPAA regulations and implement robust encryption measures to protect patient privacy and secure sensitive medical information. The study concludes that the ECC-Serpent hybrid encryption scheme is a viable and effective solution for enhancing healthcare data security in cluster environments, ensuring both data integrity and regulatory compliance. The implemented Python framework yielded promising results, the key finding is that the ECC-Serpent hybrid encryption scheme is a viable and effective solution for enhancing healthcare data security in cluster environments, achieving an accuracy rate of 97.5% in safeguarding patient data.
Hybrid Optimization Framework for Feature Selection in WSN Using Red Kite and Firefly Algorithms with Ensemble Learning for Intrusion Detection Senthil Kumaran.R, Dhanush Kumar.J, Aswanth Kumar.R, Selvam.M.R 2025 International Conference on Recent Advances in Electrical Electronics Ubiquitous Communication and Computational Intelligence Raeeucci 2025, 2025 Providing cybersecurity in Internet of Things (IoT) environments, especially within Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), is highly important for intrusion detection. A Hybrid Optimization Framework for Feature Selection, which brings together the Red Kite Optimization Algorithm (RKOA) and the Firefly Algorithm (FFLY), is proposed in this research to extract the most effective features with the least redundancy to detect the intrusion. For classification, an ensemble machine learning model involving Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM), and Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU) networks is employed to identify rich temporal patterns and boost detection capabilities. The advanced framework is benchmarked using the NSL-KDD dataset on various metrics that include accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, F1-score, and Area Under the Curve (AUC). Experimental findings show that the hybrid optimization method successfully identifies the optimal features, and the ensemble model successfully identifies different attacks. This solution not only provides improved detection accuracy but also guarantees scalability, providing a strong defense mechanism to protect IoT-based WSNs from changing cyber threats.

CrossMemeNet: A Cross-Modal Attention Framework for Meme Sentiment Analysis Using CLIP and BERT Akshaya V, Sivanantham S, Krishnamoorthy V, Senthil Kumaran R, Renuka Devi S Proceedings 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Applications Healthcare and Internet of Things Aimla 2025, 2025 Internet memes have become a new means of communication that include a blend of images and texts so as to express sentiment and emotions. Standard approaches to perform sentiment analysis are no longer efficient when the mems are multiform, which necessitates more complex possibilities for identifying them. To this end, CrossMemeNet is introduced in this paper as a new cross-modal framework grounded on the merits of CLIP and BERT for meme sentiment analysis. The integration is based on a two-streasmuner approach, in which CLIP processes the visual content with Vision Transformer and BERT the textual content with contextual embedding. All these features are connected by crossmodal attention that adaptively adjusts the contribution of all the modalities. The adopted framework is tested on the Memotion 7K corpus following a strict training regimen accompanied by extensive regularization. Experimental results pointed out that the proposed CrossMemeNet has achieved an accuracy measure of 85.27% and loss of 1.1234 in sentiment classification. The model is shown to have very high predictive confidence in all the sentiment categories with confidence percentages within the range of 87.30% – 91.65% on test samples. Training dynamics also demonstrate constant enhancement of both parameters; training accuracy ranges between 65% and 95% and validation accuracy is at 85 %. Based on these results, we can conclude that this subtle interplay between visual and textual inputs can be controlled by a careful architectural design of the advanced vision-language models. A study on the result shows that it has the potential to be used in its wider sense in the analysis of the content of the social media and the automatic identification of the sentiment analysis.
Hybrid approach of Ant Colony system and Recurrent Neural network for Energy Efficient Routing in Cognitive Wireless Sensor Networks Kalpana S, Senthil Kumaran R, Sivasakthi T, Devi A, Kiruthiga M, Mohankumar Mohankumar Proceedings of 2025 1st International Conference on Radio Frequency Communication and Networks Rfcon 2025, 2025 Energy-aware communication in Cognitive Wireless Sensor Networks (CWSNs) was challenging with dynamic spectrum availability, high topology change rates, and low energy. Conventional routing techniques result in excessive energy usage and reduced network lifetimes. This work introduces an adaptive AI hybrid technique integrating Enhanced Ant Colony Optimization (EACO) for desirable choices in CH and sequence prediction neural network for energy pattern prediction and proactive optimization. The Decentralized Power-Aware Clustering (DPAC) protocol also optimizes energy distribution. Regarding energy efficiency, mean throughput, and network lifetime, our model outperformed existing systems. Simulations show that EACO + RNN greatly reduces energy use, improves the reliability of packet transmission, and extends the network's life by stopping early node failures. This hybridization of predictive AI and bio-inspired optimization guarantees scalable, energy-efficient CWSNs.
