Enhanced Convolutional Neural Networks for Adaptive IoT Botnet Attack Detection Using Reinforcement Learning Ranjith Kumar S, Subhash P, Anitha R Proceedings 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Applications Healthcare and Internet of Things Aimla 2025, 2025 The proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has revolutionized various industries but has also exposed critical vulnerabilities in network security, making IoT networks prime targets for botnet attacks. This project addresses the challenge by developing a hybrid detection system that integrates Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Reinforcement Learning (RL) for efficient and accurate botnet detection. Utilizing the N-BaIoT dataset, the system is designed to process large volumes of network traffic data, enabling the identification of anomalous behavior indicative of botnet activities. The architecture begins with data collection and preprocessing to ensure the input is normalized and structured for machine learning models. CNNs are employed for feature extraction, leveraging their ability to automatically learn complex patterns in IoT traffic data. This is followed by fully connected layers for classification, predicting whether a traffic instance is benign or botnet-related. The system achieves high accuracy through the hierarchical combination of convolutional layers and dense layers, ensuring robust detection capabilities across diverse traffic patterns. To enhance adaptability and decision-making, an RL agent is integrated into the pipeline. The RL agent employs a feedback mechanism, continuously learning and optimizing the model's performance based on real-time classifications.

Subhash 2025 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Green Industrial Electronics and Sustainable Technologies Giest 2025, 2025 Traditional agricultural practices often suffer from inefficient resource utilization, leading to reduced yields and environmental damage due to inaccurate estimations of water and nutrient requirements. This project addresses these challenges by presenting an IoT-based agricultural and irrigation system. This system deploys a network of sensors to collect real-time data on environmental conditions and crop health, transmitting it to a central unit for analysis. Based on this analysis, the system automatically controls irrigation and fertilizer application, delivering precise amounts of water and nutrients. The implemented system demonstrates improved water use efficiency, minimized nutrient runoff, optimized crop growth leading to increased yields, and enables early detection of crop health issues, contributing to more sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.
OMM-RLC Optimised Multimodal Fusion For Recurrence Lung Cancer Detection P Subhash, D Manju, V Sreaya, P Sharath, S Shreyana, P Manideep Icccmla 2024 6th International Conference on Cybernetics Cognition and Machine Learning Applications, 2024 Lung cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, involving abnormal cell changes and uncontrollable growth leading to tumors. It’s a leading cause of cancer-related deaths and can spread throughout the body if untreated. An efficient detection system is crucial, and multimodal fusion techniques offer greater accuracy than single-data-type models. Our approach for diagnosing recurrent lung cancer combines clinical and imaging data from a radiogenomic dataset. We create two unique models specific to their datasets and combine them using a late fusion strategy. This includes data gathering, preprocessing, feature extraction, and identifying recurrent lung cancer. Models are individually trained and then combined, aiming to select the best model based on accuracy and mean absolute error (MAE). Deep Learning is effective for clinical data processing, and CNNs like ResNet50 have shown promising results in image classification over traditional CNNs like VGG-16. The late fusion technique enhances predictive outcomes for multi-source datasets. Using an ensemble of models with an averaging method achieves a $78.04 \\%$ accuracy rate, surpassing individual models. Our project focuses on the often-neglected aspect of recurrent lung cancer, emphasizing the need for early detection techniques. By using advanced fusion methods, integrated various data sources and models, improving predictive precision and advancing cancer detection and patient care
