HYBRID OPTIMIZATION FOR QUADCOPTER DRONE SWARMING: COMBINING ANT COLONY AND BIRD FLOCKING STRATEGIES Husam Al-Behadili, Mushreq Abdulhussain Shuriji, Aqeel Mahmood Jawad Advanced Information Systems, 2026 Although, the quadcopter drone systems have significantly impacted the drone industry, they are considered to be complicated due to the nature of cooperation in accomplishing specific missions. The complications come from the way of movements and arranges in flying tasks which need to be guided in a certain way and have the skill of obstacle dodging. In this research, a developed proposal of a hybrid robot biological swarming algorithm introduced a significant enhancement in swarming rules and blended between the leadership and members' movement control. This enhancement comes from combining two major abilities from observing the selected biological swarms. From the bird flocks the quadcopter drone will have the capability of formations, obstacle avoidance, and safe distance keeping while flying while preserving the ability to alter directions and speed. However, due to the lack of ability to guide the quadcopter drones into specified stored locations which limits the potential applications, the use of ant colony swarm inspiration has solved this issue. The developed algorithm is suitable for a wide range of real-time applications such as firefighting in open lands, rescue missions, delivery, and scanning in time of disasters, and agricultural field like air scanning, health status, and irrigation condition.
Social Intelligence and Web Mining for Renewable Energy Insights Lara Mwafaq, Mehdi Muhemed Mool, Shahd Munther Mahmoud, Aqeel Mahmood Jawad, Abdalfattah Sharad International Journal on Informatics Visualization, 2025 Considering the global change towards renewable energy, the necessity to form an understanding of what the people think, believe, and debate regarding sustainable technologies is increasing. The analysis uses social intelligence and web mining to find meaning in masses of unstructured renewable energy information online. Based on 12 months of social media, forums, and news websites data, the study utilizes superior natural language processing and machine learning frameworks to estimate sentiment, determine the most prevalent themes, and predict the adoption patterns per region. It was discovered that overall feeling was (largely) positive particularly about European and North American stakeholders. The data association of ESE using the topic model shows that economic benefit and technological advances are the most prevalent subjects of renewable energy subfields. A multivariate regression equation is constructed that will relate the digital sentiment and thematic emphasis to predicted adoption rates and the model is estimated with real life regional data. Findings indicate that the organization of the public discourse is considerably linked to the readiness and engagement at the regional level, which highlights the effectiveness of digital cues to predict energy demand. The article presents a methodology that can not only gauge the online opinion, but also transform it into policy-level insights that can be used by policymakers and industry stakeholders in the energy sector. In this interdisciplinary focus, sociotechnical analysis is given importance besides the renewable energy planning and communication. The weaknesses in terms of linguistic diversity and transferability of models are identified and recommendations of future studies on how the methodological approach can be further enhanced are provided.
The Evolution of Environmental Marketing Strategies in the Age of Climate Awareness Yahya Majeed Alsaad, Faiza Abdulla Ali, Baydaa Essam Abdulrahman Jasim, Aqeel Mahmood Jawad, Ghufran Waleed Environment and Social Psychology, 2025 With mounting environmental concerns, corporate strategies have been continuously aligned to conform with environmentally sound practices. This research investigates the influence of sustainability-driven marketing strategies on corporate environmental performance (CET), specifically on CO₂ emissions reduction, energy efficient growth, effective waste management, and consumer perception and attitudes. Employing a multi-source dataset from a combination of corporate sustainability reports, consumer surveys and third-party audits, the research investigates the outcomes from comprehensive, moderate, and limited sustainability marketing strategies. Specifically, firms that adopt more long-term and transparent environmental marketing initiatives attain significantly higher reduction rates of CO₂ emissions and energy consumption, and waste management efficiency. Additionally, consumer perception analysis showcases that greater sustainability message transparency directly correlates with improved brand trust and heightened premium willingness-to-pay for sustainable qualities in products. Moreover, digital marketing strategies are found to play an analogous role, where organizations that invested in online channels reported substantially higher public sentiment and stakeholder interaction rates. The article emphasis a on need for transparency regulations regarding sustainability claims to ensure that what businesses commit to on the environmental front aligns with real, measurable results. The results suggest that companies should integrate sustainability communication deeply into their business and not limit it to an additional marketing activity. Future studies should uncover the long-term effects of sustainability marketing, best practices in industry for sustainable marketing and how new digital technologies may shape consumer environmental behavior.
Quantum-Enabled Secure and Energy-Efficient Protocols for Smart Grid Communication Systems Sara Al-Qaraghuli, Sarah Haitham Jameel, Mohammed Nouri Majid, Aqeel Mahmood Jawad, Matai Nagi Saeed, et al. International Journal of Engineering Science and Information Technology, 2025 The development and evolution of the smart grid into complex, cyber-physical energy systems make it essential to secure?communication among the distributed components. The rise of quantum computing has made it even more pressing to develop protocols that?are secure outside the limitations of classical cryptosystems. In this paper, it proposes a quantum-assisting secure communication scheme (QASCP) to?boost the security and energy for smart grid communication systems. The proposed protocol combines quantum key distribution with lightweight entropy-based mutual authentication and dynamic session management. It is designed to defend grid assets such as control centers, smart meters, and distribute energy?resources from sophisticated adversarial models, including quantum-capable threats. The approach consists of system level simulation utilizing a?co-simulation framework customized for quantum smart grid communication. The performance of this scheme was compared?against classical and PQ lattice-based schemes in terms of the authentication latency, energy consumption, entropy preservation, and scalability to handle the load and delay effects, under the assumptions of different loading and delay scenarios. Simulation results show that QASCP is able to reduce the energy consumption and authenticity latency, simultaneously it keeps the high throughput and leaves strong entropy?under attack scenarios. The protocol is also shown to?remain robust with varying quantum bit error rates as well as having a smaller memory footprint on popular network topologies. The results provide evidence for the practical integration of?quantum-secure communication in smart grid architectures. By addressing security and performance simultaneously, the protocol?provides a path to future-proof energy networks which can support dependable operations in a quantum-enhanced environment. This could be future enhance for energy efficiency.
