On Qualitative Behaviour of Solutions of Third Order Matrix Delay Differential Equations Adetunji. A. Adeyanju, Cemil Tunç, Babatunde. S. Ogundare Contemporary Mathematics Singapore, 2025 We analyze, using the Lyapunov-Krasovskii method, the conditions for the stability, boundedness and periodicity of solutions to a class of nonlinear matrix differential equation of third order with variable delay. Criteria under which the solutions to the equation considered possess solutions that are stable and bounded on the real line as well as existence of at least one periodic solution are given. Our results generalize and extend many existing results in the literature on scalar, vector and matrix differential equations with or without delay. The integrity of our results is demonstrated by two numerical examples included.
Transcritical and Hopf Bifurcation Analysis of Cyberattacks in Software-Defined Networking B.O.S. Biaou, A.O. Oluwatope, B.S. Ogundare IFAC Papersonline, 2024 This research work examines the dynamics of cyberattacks using the lenses of transcritical and Hopf bifurcations in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) systems. The motivation of this research is to determine the bifurcation points that are crucial to evaluate the different movements of the cyberattacks in the network system. The bifurcation points can then be used to create an effective mitigation plans for better security of SDN. We examine the circumstances surrounding these bifurcations and how they affect the resilience and stability of SDN systems. The efficiency of these tactics is illustrated by numerical modeling in Anaconda, which adds to the understanding of the dynamics of cyberattacks in SDN systems, especially with regard to transcritical and Hopf bifurcations.

Vehicle plate number localization using a modified GrabCut algorithm Ayodeji Olalekan Salau, Thomas Kokumo Yesufu, Babatunde Sunday Ogundare Journal of King Saud University Computer and Information Sciences, 2021 Vehicle plate number recognition plays an important role in traffic control and surveillance systems. A key stage in any vehicle plate number recognition system is to first locate the vehicle plate number. In this paper, we present a modified GrabCut algorithm for localizing vehicle plate numbers. In contrast with the traditional interactive GrabCut technique, a modified GrabCut algorithm was designed to identify and extract vehicle plate numbers in a completely automatic manner. Our approach extends the use of the traditional GrabCut algorithm with addition of a feature extraction method which uses geometric information to give accurate foreground extraction. Finally, to evaluate the performance of the proposed technique, the localization accuracy is tested with a dataset of 500 vehicle images with vehicle plates from different countries. An accuracy of 99.8% was achieved for the localization of vehicle plates. Comparative analysis is also reported.
A hybrid collocation method for solving highly nonlinear boundary value problems A.O. Adewumi, S.O. Akindeinde, A.A. Aderogba, B.S. Ogundare Heliyon, 2020 In this article, a hybrid collocation method for solving highly nonlinear boundary value problems is presented. This hybrid method combines Chebyshev collocation method with Laplace and differential transform methods to obtain approximate solutions of some highly nonlinear two-point boundary value problems of ordinary differential equations. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated by applying it to ordinary differential equations modelling Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer momentum problem, laminar viscous flow problem in a semi-porous channel subject to transverse magnetic field, fin problem with a temperature-dependent thermal conductivity, transformed equations modelling two-dimensional viscous flow problem in a rectangular domain bounded by two moving porous walls and two-dimensional constant speed squeezing flow of a viscous fluid between two approaching parallel plates. The results obtained are compared with the existing methods and the results show that the new method is quite reasonable, accurate and efficient.
