Arul Freeda Vinodhini International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 2023 “We, the Editors and Publisher of the International Journal of Computer Mathematics, have retracted the following article:R. Balapriya, A. Thiripuram, S. Annadurai & G. Arul Freeda Vinodhini (2023) Mathematical Techniques and Applications of Linear Differential Equation, International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 100:4, 901- 908, DOI: 10.1080/00207160.2022.2164491Following an investigation by the Taylor & Francis Research Integrity and Ethics team, it was discovered post-publication that this article was not peer reviewed appropriately, in line with the Journal's peer review standards and policy. As the stringency of the peer review process is core to the integrity of the publication process, the Editor and Publisher have taken the decision to retract the article. The journal has not confirmed if the authors were aware of this compromised peer review process. The journal is committed to correcting the scientific record and will fully cooperate with any institutional investigations into this matter. The authors have been informed of this decision. We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions. The retracted articles will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but they will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.”
A Fast and Robust Regression Model for Keyframes Extraction P. Chitra, A. Thiripuram, R. Balapriya, Sivakumar. N, Ramakrishnan Raman, D. Rosy Salomi Victoria 3rd International Conference on Power Energy Control and Transmission Systems Icpects 2022 Proceedings, 2022 In recent days, multimedia content has been developed from multiple resources such as social media video content, video surveillance, etc. Due to rapid increasing the volume of digital data, analysis and retrieval of the video will be time consuming. Due to continuous frame count, retrieving content of the video from large databases is a challenging one. To overcome the above challenge, this paper introduces a regression model to extract the information that is derived from frame sequence that uses two statistical features on the frame. This model can be applied on any kinds of video data to extend several multimedia applications and experiments for scene understanding, video summarization, etc Finally, user generated video where static video and dynamic videos and VIRAT benchmark dataset are evaluated by demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed work.
