This study attempts to analyze swine flu research in terms of relative growth rate, authorship pattern, and the scattering of articles by source and country. The period of study was 2001 to 2012. A total of 50,627 records were obtained from MEDLINE databases. The degree of collaboration C = 0.884 represents 88 percent of the collaborative author articles published during the period studied.
