Esha Raffie Journal of Testing and Evaluation, 2015 The tightened–normal–tightened (TNT) attribute sampling scheme was devised by Calvin. This paper introduces a design methodology for TNT variable sampling schemes indexed by an entry parameter called the crossover point. A method of designing the plan based on given values of the crossover point pc and the relative slope hc is provided. A table provides plans for a given set of entry parameters, namely, pc and hc.

Esha Raffie Journal of Applied Statistics, 2014 In this paper, the scheme of the inspection plan, namely the tightened normal tightened (nT, nN; k) is considered and procedures and necessary tables are developed for the selection of the variables sampling scheme, indexed through crossover point (COP). The importance of COP, the properties and advantages of the operating characteristic curve with respect to COP are studied.
