New dinuclear methoxo-bridged manganese(III) complex: Synthesis, characterization and usage as new precursor for synthesis of Mn2O3 particles A. D. Khalaji, M. Ghorbani, Norrolah Feizi, A. Akbari, M. Eigner Journal of Sciences Islamic Republic of Iran, 2020 New dinuclear methoxo-bridged manganese(III) complex [Mn2((MeO-bph)en)2Cl2(m-CH3O)2] (1) was synthesized by template reaction of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone, 1,2-ethanediamine and MnCl2×6H2O with molar ration (1:1:1) in methanol as solvent. The title compound 1 was characterized by elemental analyses (CHN), Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and single crystal X-ray diffraction. X-ray result reveal that 1 is dimeric with methoxo bridges between two symmetry equivalent manganese ions. The Mn ions are surrounded in a distorted octahedral geometry influenced by Jahn-Teller effect. The tridentate Schiff base ligand MeO-bp-en and one of the methoxo-bridges bind in the equatorial mode, whereas in the axial positions, other metoxo-bridge and Cl atom bind to the Mn ions. Thermogravimetric analysis of 1 was studied and display the title compound 1 decompose in three stages. Finally, by calcination of 1 at 500 °C for 3 h, we prepared Mn2O3 particles and characterized by FT-IR, XRD and SEM.

Feizi Russian Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2020 Maghemite–copper oxide nanocomposite catalyzed oxidative coupling of formamides with β-dicarbonyl compounds in the presence of tert-butyl hydroperoxide as an oxidant to produce the corresponding enol carbamates in excellent yields (up to 92%) under the optimized conditions. The simple preparation and the ability to be recycled and magnetically separated are salient features of this catalytic system.
Reducing Environmental Pollution of Fuel Fly Ash by Extraction and Removal Vanadium Pentoxide Mohammad Hakimi, Parvin Kiani, Mina Alikhani, Nourollah Feizi, Alireza Mazloumi Bajestani, Paransa Alimard Solid Fuel Chemistry, 2020 In the current project, V2O5 extraction from fuel fly ash was carried out, and the advanced extraction method was investigated. This reduced the percentage of industrial fuel fly ash residue pollution in the environment. The project was done with two materials: V2O5 and fuel fly ash. The extraction method includes alkaline leaching, pH regulation, ammonium compounds addition, and calcination. The experiment was identified using V2O5 as the primary material. Under the optimum amounts, the extraction efficiencies of V2O5 reached 92.9%, 92.9%, 99.6%. moreover, V2O5 eliminated over 90% of fuel fly ash. The obtained products were characterized using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Alkaline fusion-ICPMMS, Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis), and Fourier Transform infrared (FT-IR).
Preparation, Characterization, and Application Magnetic Fe3O4@SiO2@Bi2O3 Nanoparticles for the Synthesis of Diindolyloxindole Derivatives H. Hassani, S. Ebrahim, N. Feizi Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2020 In this study, synthesis of diindolyl oxindole derivatives has been developed by the coupling of indole compounds, isatin compounds, catalyzed with nanomagnetic Fe3O4@SiO2@Bi2O3. Reactions proceeded smoothly, and the corresponding heterocyclic products have been obtained in good to high yields. Magnetic Fe3O4@SiO2@Bi2O3 catalyst has been produced by the hydrothermal method. At first, the magnetic nanoparticles Fe3O4 have been produced as the core and subsequently they have been coated with SiO2; finally, in the third stage, Bi2O3 has been deposited on Fe3O4@SiO2. The synthesized catalyst has been characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), dispersive energy X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray powder diffraction, vibrating sample Magnetometry (VSM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. This catalyst has been compared with other catalysts used in other methods for the synthesis of diindolyl oxindole derivatives. Using of water as the solvent, short reaction time, and recovery capability with a very slight reduction in the efficiency of the product even in the fourth stage of use are the advantages of application of this catalyst in the synthesis of derivatives of diindolyl oxindoles.

Investigation of the effect of the n-oxidation process on the interaction of selected pyridine compounds with biomacromolecules: Structural, spectral, theoretical and docking studies Mohammad Hakimi, Fereshteh Sadeghi, Nourollah Feizi, Keyvan Moeini, Monika Kučeráková, Michal Dušek Acta Crystallographica Section C Structural Chemistry, 2019 Two new N-oxide compounds, namely glycinium 2-carboxy-1-(λ1-oxidaneyl)-1λ4-pyridine-6-carboxylate–glycine–water (1/1/1), C2H6NO2 +·C7H4NO5 −·C2H5NO2·H2O or [(2,6-HpydcO)(HGLY)(GLY)(H2O)], 1, and methyl 6-carboxy-1-(λ1-oxidaneyl)-1λ4-pyridine-2-carboxylate, C8H7NO5 or 2,6-HMepydcO, 2, were prepared and identified by elemental analysis, FT–IR, Raman spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The X-ray analysis of 1 revealed an ionic compound containing a 2,6-HpydcO− anion, a glycinium cation, a neutral glycine molecule and a water molecule. Compound 2 is a neutral compound with two independent units in its crystal structure. In addition to the hydrogen bonds, the crystal network is stabilized by π–π stacking interactions of the types pyridine–carboxylate and carboxylate–carboxylate. The thermodynamic stability and charge-distribution patterns for isolated molecules of 2,6-H2pydcO and 2,6-HMepydcO, and their two similar derivatives, pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (2,6-H2pydc) and dimethyl 1-(λ1-oxidaneyl)-1λ4-pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate (2,6-Me2pydcO), were studied by density functional theory (DFT) and natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis, respectively. The ability of these compounds and their analogues to interact with nine selected biomacromolecules (BRAF kinase, CatB, DNA gyrase, HDAC7, rHA, RNR, TrxR, TS and Top II) was investigated using docking calculations.
