Dr. Arundhati received her Bachelor of Engineering in 1991 from the University College of Engineering, Sambalpur University, India, and her MTech in 2006. In 2015, he received his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad. Her dissertation was titled Design and Implementation of Nonlinear Vector Control for a High-Performance Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor Drive. She completed one AICTE and published 40 research papers in 24 international journals.

Arundhati, Ravindra Kollu 2025 5th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Signal Processing Aisp 2025, 2025 The calculation of the State of Charge of the Lithium-Ion battery of an electric vehicle has become imperative as it is essential for the safe operation of the battery. The distance that can be commuted by the vehicle can also be found by the precise SOC values. While estimating the SOC the Warburg effect is to be considered for obtaining accurate values. Also, the rate of discharge of the battery affects battery capacity which plays a substantial role in the estimation of SOC and needs to be considered. In this paper, the Li-Ion battery’s SOC has been estimated with an Extended Kalman Filter considering the Warburg effect as well as the effect of rate of discharge.
