Strategic Decision Analysis for Investment Portfolios: Computational Risk Assessment in Transportation Asset Management Devy Sofyanty, Romadhoni Romadhoni, Handriadi Handriadi, Istamova Shokhida Makhsudovna, Zakiyah Anwar, Zokir Mamadiyarov Journal of Applied Science Engineering Technology and Education, 2025 This study presents a strategic decision-making framework for portfolio investment by applying computational risk assessment methods to the transportation sector in Indonesia. Focusing on two key players—PT. Adi Sarana Tbk (ASSA) and PT. Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD)—the research evaluates their individual and combined risk-return profiles using daily stock return data from December 2023 to November 2024. A hybrid analytical approach is employed, integrating traditional financial metrics with advanced computational techniques such as Monte Carlo simulation and Value at Risk (VaR) modeling to support managerial decision-making. The analysis reveals contrasting performance patterns: BIRD exhibits marginally positive expected returns (0.04%) but higher downside risk exposure, whereas ASSA shows negative average returns (-0.06%) yet demonstrates lower volatility and reduced extreme loss potential. Portfolio optimization results demonstrate that a diversified allocation of 60% ASSA and 40% BIRD generates improved risk-adjusted returns, achieving a positive expected return while maintaining lower overall risk compared to the individual assets. By incorporating monetary VaR estimates, this study enhances the practical relevance of risk analytics for portfolio managers, particularly in navigating volatile emerging markets. The findings underscore the importance of strategic asset allocation, business model differentiation, and quantitative risk modeling in constructing resilient investment portfolios. This research contributes both methodologically and managerially by offering a robust, replicable framework for strategic decision analysis in transportation asset management and beyond.
Analysis Strength Structure Fising Vessel of Composit Sandwich Plate System Using Finite Element Method Romadhoni, Budhi Santoso, Polaris Nasution Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2021 Fiberglass composite material is currently widely used as an alternative material or substitute material for metal and wood materials for the manufacture of fishing boats, because it has its own advantages, among others, easily formed in accordance with needs, has good strength and stiffness. However, in the operation of the ship the bow section often experiences a collision or collision so that when the ship is operating and leaning on the dock which causes a collision where the kinetic energy of the boat turns into a collision energy absorbed by the boat’s hull that is hit by a collision. The energy damaged the hull of the boat that was hit, so the front of the ship needs to be done by adding a new material that is a composite sandwich made with the aim of optimal weight efficiency, but has high rigidity and strength. There are many variations in the definition of sandwich composites, but the main factor of the material is the lightweight core, thus reducing the specific gravity of the material and the strength of the skin layer which gives strength to the sandwich composite. This research was carried out a static structural analysis of composite sandwich material using Ansys Workbench 14.5 software. A model is designed and analyzed using 3D CAD software, which is fore ships that have the potential to experience collisions. From the simulation results of the Fenite element method, the maximum principal stress of the model shows that the maximum point is 11.6 MPa. The maximum stress occurs at the ivory bottom, which is 6.9759 kN/m2 or 6.97 kPa, this occurs due to the bow of the fishing boat experienced a great imposition.

Zulfaidah, Sarwoko, Suharto, Budhi Santoso, Romadhoni Iop Conference Series Materials Science and Engineering, 2020 Abstract The development of the current design of electrical system to protect the environment in the world. The purpose of this research is to obtain an electric propulsion system and engine power needed by the Ferry RoRo 500 DWT ship. The analysis begins by calculating the total ship resistance using the software. Next, the calculation of determining the generator power is calculated by a mathematical method. Resistance of 500 DWT RORO ferry at 12 knots 67.7 kN service speed. The increase in ship resistance is affected by the volume of the hull below the waterline. The greater the volume the greater the value resistance ship to get. The power play engine generator required to fight the value of ship resistance at the ferry RORO service speed of 984.49 kW.
Study on the Stability of High Speed Craft with Step Hull Angle Variations A Afriantoni, R Romadhoni, B Santoso Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2020 Abstract This research is to investigate the stability of High Speed Craft with step hull angle variations at Napoleon Patrol Boat. The Napoleon Patrol Boat is a speed control boat for marine and fisheries resources in Riau Province which has a limited operational area. In its operation, the Napoleon speedboat was used to patrol the waters of zone 1, namely the waters of Bengkalis, Siak and Meranti Regency. This ship was built using fiberglass construction that is lightweight and also strong. The number of cases of fishing theft and the problem of using fishing gear that is not in accordance with its designation, makes the presence of fast boats really necessary for the safety of the waters and the safety of the people there. In this study the Napoleon hull was modified by adding variations in the step hull angle. The stability analysis method used for this study is to use numerical computing software or shipping software to help calculate stability and equilibrium. Stability analysis is carried out by calculating the value of stability to the stability curve at the slope angle of -30° to 90°. The analysis uses the standard stability guidelines issued by IMO for HSC2000 fast boats with light arm 20°. The stability analysis results of maximum stability are found on the sail conditions of the PC Max GZ hull model 0.889 m at 51.8 deg, then the hull SH-2 Max GZ 1 m at 51.8 deg, and the hull model SH-2 Max GZ 0.758 m at 51, 8 deg. Analysis of the use of step hull variations on the hull of the SH-2 model has met all IMO criteria in 3 different conditions that have good stability.
