A comparative study on feasibility and impact of equated daily instalments Saji Vithal Vernekar, Sonali Bhaskar Jadhav, Pradeep Ramesh Sonar Recent Advances in Technology Management, 2026 This study aims to explore the use of equated daily instalments (EDI), as an alternative repayment schedule compared to the traditional equated monthly instalments (EMI) in consumer and commercial lending. It also discusses the feasibility, advantages, and drawbacks of EDI systems. The research compares EDI with EMI and assesses the effect on borrower behavior, financial planning and overall loan performance. It relies on case studies, borrower surveys, and financial modelling to evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of daily repayment models. EDIs has proven to be more flexible (and lower defaults, perhaps) but inherent challenges of admin complexity and self-discipline also accompany them. This study adds to the generic literature on new financial products and their effects on financial inclusion and customer satisfaction.
Deep Learning and Machine Learning Techniques for Analyzing the Impact of Big Data and Analytics on Firm Profitability Sunil Joshi, Yogeshwari Laxman Giri, Sunil Kumar, Mohammed Al-Farouni, Seema Rani, Saji Vithal Vernekar Proceedings 3rd International Conference on Self Sustainable Artificial Intelligence Systems Icssas 2025, 2025 The construction firm produces various types of big data during the project development. This data arrives in a variety of types and forms, far exceeding the data administration, incorporation, and evaluation capacities of industry-standard project data approaches. Establishing appropriate profit levels and continuously monitoring them as initiatives proceed are critical managerial activities that demand statistical decision assistance. Current profit estimating methods rely on firm or industrial standards to influence their conclusions. These standards are sometimes incorrect since they do not account for project-dependent variables. Deep learning (DL), big data analytics, and firms are the most widely employed and intuitive cognitive instruments in modern ecosystems, and they have received a lot of focus for their capacity to impact company decisions. Firms can employ these innovations to offer useful data and get responses that will help them enhance their productivity and get a market edge. The possibility of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), such as VGG16, ResNet50, and InceptionV3, in forecasting construction firm profitability is investigated in this study. The investigation highlights the value of big databases and demonstrates that CNN simulations outperform conventional methods, notably pointing to a noteworthy accuracy percentage of 92.6% using CNN (VGG16). These findings demonstrate that DL may draw useful conclusions from intricate construction firm data, providing substantial chances to maximize profits and boost business performance. In addition to legal and privacy concerns, the findings emphasize the necessity of infrastructural and skill funds for an effective CNN inclusion. This study adds insightful information to the conversation about DL in construction firms and helps companies navigate the cutthroat world of the marketplace.
A Comprehensive Study on Blockchain Technology and its Prospects to Create an Effective Internal Control System Saji Vithal Vernekar, Aman Gupta, Ganesh Chavan International Journal of Emerging Research in Engineering Science and Management, 2024 This paper explores the revolutionary impact of blockchain technology on internal control systems in organizations. In today’s interconnected and rapidly changing corporate landscape, businesses must establish efficient administrative control systems to mitigate risks and meet legal obligations. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized record-keeping and cryptographic security features, addresses many contemporary issues related to transparency, security, and efficiency. This study delves into how blockchain affects internal control frameworks by ensuring immutable transaction trails, improving traceability, and enhancing security, all while automating processes through smart contracts. Additionally, challenges such as scalability, interoperability, and regulatory compliance are discussed. The conclusion emphasizes that while blockchain is not a replacement for internal control systems, it acts as a powerful complement, strengthening overall system efficiency and effectiveness.
