Dr. Liliana Beniuc is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations, Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences, Moldova State University, and a Senior Researcher at the Center for Political Research and International Relations within the Institute for Legal, Political and Sociological Research. Her academic and scientific work is situated at the intersection of Political Science, International Relations, European Studies, Security Research, and Institutional Development, with a particular focus on the Republic of Moldova’s European integration process.
Her teaching and research profile combines the study of democratic governance, European integration, international security, EU external action, institutional resilience, and public policy adaptation in transitional societies. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, lecturing, and academic coordination, having taught courses such as European Integration.

EDUCATION

Dr. Liliana Beniuc graduated from Moldova State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science, followed by a Master’s Degree in Political Science. She later obtained a Master’s Degree in Law from the Moldova Institute of International Relations and earned a Doctor of Political Science degree from the Institute of Legal, Political, and Sociological Research of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Her academic formation is complemented by continuous professional training in higher education pedagogy, external quality assessment, psycho-pedagogical competencies, innovative teaching practices, digital education, and project management in the framework of Horizon Europe requirements.
