I am Ihor Liubeka, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Crys-Teh LLC. I specialize in crystal technology and optical engineering, with long-term experience in advancing TeO₂ crystal processing for acousto-optic and polarizing optics. In my current role, I lead technological development and support high standards in crystal growth, precision processing, and optical characterization for demanding photonic applications.

Previously, I held leadership roles at Elent Technics Ltd., where I contributed to the development of acousto-optic devices, polarizing prisms, and precision optical components. My expertise includes optimization of acousto-optic systems, precision crystal processing, optical system design, and technology refinement. In 2024, I was recognized in the Electro Optics “Photonics100” list of the industry’s most innovative people.

EDUCATION

I am a Ph.D. researcher in Materials Science at the Iron and Steel Institute of Z. I. Nekrasov National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. My research is dedicated to the growth and optimization of large-diameter α-TeO₂ single crystals using the Czochralski method.
I hold a Master’s degree in Radio Physics and Electronics from Dnepropetrovsk National University. My academic background is focused on applied physics, electronics, and optical materials, which formed the foundation for my professional work in acousto-optics and polarizing optics.
