Poverty Analysis through Spiritual, Multidimensional and Monetary Material Approaches in Indonesia Rural Agricultural Area Ary Yunanto, Rio Dhani Laksana, Dian Purnomo Jati E3s Web of Conferences, 2025 Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia Province, rated eighth out of all Indonesian regions in terms of poverty in 2023, despite an increase in the region's poverty rate. Low levels of education are the first step toward being unable to exploit and develop natural resources. A poor work ethic then eliminates low production. The study was carried out in the Banyumas district of Central Java Province, in a low-income area. In the first year, 200 poor people from the four Banyumas Regency subdistricts of Cilongok, Pekuncen, Wangon, Kedungbanteng, and Rawalo would be selected. Regional geography will be the basis for the selection procedure. Only poverty is impacted by informal credit, and that impact is favorable. This will enable the factors affecting the level of poverty in the area to be identified. The multinomial logit regression technique is an analytical tool used to fulfill the study goals. The findings of this study demonstrate that, in the instance of the Banyumas district region covered in this article, socioeconomic determinants do not necessarily have the same impact on multidimensional poverty or monetary poverty. Only in cases of severe poverty can official labor status have any significance. Regional topography alone has a significant impact on multidimensional poverty.

The nature of the independent board moderating variable on the impact of family company control on dividend and capital structure policies is also examined in this study. Twenty-six firms that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2018 and 2022 are used in this study’s panel data. The independent board’s moderating effect can change how negatively the family firm controls the dividend policy. However, the independent variable board has a significant detrimental impact on the capital structure and moderates the impact of family company control. The dividend payout ratio is significantly positively impacted by firm size and growth potential. Development of a Forest Village Agriculture Farmer Dependence Model on Forest Resources for the Creation of Sustainable Economic Prosperity in the Banyumas Forest Area, Central Java Province, Indonesia Rio Dhani laksana, Intan Shaferi E3s Web of Conferences, 2023 Communities that live close to forests heavily rely on the resources found there. In the KPH Banyumas setting of Central Java, the research aims to determine the likelihood of choosing to work in the forest for income and characterize the elements that impact the decision to work for forest farming and forest village agricultural farmers. The study’s findings suggest that, in the forest community, the choice of employment is influenced by the physical ability variable, but not by the risk or reward factors. The factors that impact the household income of Banyumas forest village farmers include age, labor hours, and the amount of land farmed. The number of dependents, education level, own land size, and non-forest family income factors all affect how dependent Banyumas forest village farmers are on forest resources. According to this research, it is also evident that the practice of purchasing and selling land leases that do not adhere to the regulations regarding the management period of forest areas for agricultural farmers’ businesses has prevented the forest village community institution from serving as an ideal institution for village farmers.

Purpose — This research aims to develop a novel construct, maqāṣid entrepreneurial finance (MEF), based on an Islamic perspective to measure small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) capital structure.
Design/Methodology/Approach — The MEF construct was developed using indicators based on maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah (the objectives of Islamic law) and entrepreneurial finance. A series of empirical studies were conducted to develop and validate an instrument to capture the MEF and its parameters. The development stages involved two steps: the item development and scale measurement stages.
Findings — The results of the factor analysis showed that five factors make up the MEF. These factors are generating and distributing profit, interest-free source of capital, distribution of income for the payment of zakat (compulsory alms) and ṣadaqah (optional alms), the provision from income for reinvestment, and avoiding haram (prohibited) investment.
Originality/Value — The paper’s overarching contributions are: first, it contributes to the development of the capital structure theory based on the Sharīʿah perspective; second, it contributes to the advancement of the capital structure theory for SMEs; third, it provides policy input to stakeholders in the SME field; and fourth, it provides practical guidelines relevant to SMEs.
Practical Implications — This research provides insight to academicians and managers on how MEF is constituted. For SME owners, the results of this study confirmed that maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah can be integrated into the capital structure decision of SMEs.
