The Future of IoT in Business and Consumer Environments Sucheta Kanchi, P. Selvakumar, Cyril Crasto, T. C. Manjunath, Subramaniam Iyer, Ruchika Paidalwar Managing the Internet of Things Iot for Business Transformation and Consumer Adoption, 2026 This paradigm is rapidly revolutionizing the way businesses operate, governments function, and consumers engage with their environments. consumer environments, emphasizing the wide-ranging impact of this technology. Defining the Internet of Things, from wearable fitness trackers to smart vehicles, and from agricultural sensors to connected healthcare devices. The key characteristics that define IoT include connectivity, automation, data exchange, and smart decision-making. to make decisions without human intervention. Over time, IoT systems learn from the data they collect, resulting in more intelligent and efficient operations. Thus, IoT is not just about connecting devices but also about enabling machines to make decisions and improve their functionality autonomously. Actuators: Actuators are responsible for carrying out the actions based on the data and decisions made by the IoT system(Adolphs & Winkelmann, 2010). For example, an actuator might turn on a heating system in response to a drop in temperature detected by a sensor.
Artificial Intelligence Reshaping Research, Innovation, and Collaboration in Higher Education: A Data-Based Analysis Prof. Dr. Amey Adinath Choudhari, Dr. Namita Chawla, Reena (Mahapatra) Lenka, Dr. G. Gopalakrishnan, Dr. Cyril Crasto, Dr. Prajakta B Deshmukh, Dr. Shilpa Gaidhani International Journal of Accounting and Economics Studies, 2025 The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education has revolutionized conventional academic practices, especially in research, innovation, and collaboration. This study sought to examine the degree to which AI tools and technologies impact research productivity, stimulate academic innovation, and enhance collaborative practices among educators and researchers. A total of 225 respondents from diverse higher education institutions in India, including teaching members, research researchers, and postgraduate students, participated in the study. A structured questionnaire was used, consisting of demographic characteristics and 23 quantitative questions categorized into four sections: AI in research practices, AI and academic innovation, AI-enhanced collaboration, and attitudes and ethical issues around AI usage. The data analysis indicated that a substantial majority of respondents recognized AI's beneficial impact on expediting data analysis, literature reviews, research design, and publishing methods. Participants emphasized the transformative capacity of AI in promoting interdisciplinary collaboration through shared platforms and intelligent automation. The results provide a framework for higher education leaders and policymakers to strategically use AI to improve academic performance, foster innovation, and boost collaboration.
The Economic Implications of SDG 3 and Healthcare 3.0: A Multivariate Regression Analysis of AI Adoption, Accessibility, and Regulatory Factors Cyril Crasto, Amol Ranadive, Dhananjay Kulkarni, Amar Yedake Transforming Business Management with AI Bi and Data Driven Decision Making, 2025 This study investigates the determinants influencing the economic impact of healthcare, focusing on the roles of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, healthcare accessibility, regulatory frameworks, and public trust in AI-driven systems e.g. Deepfake Technology. Employing multiple regression analysis, the research examines a sample of 273 observations to explore how these variables collectively shape healthcare’s economic outcomes. Findings reveal that AI adoption and regulatory frameworks significantly enhance economic performance, while public trust in AI exhibits a negative relationship, suggesting that lower trust may hinder the economic benefits of AI integration. Healthcare accessibility and affordability also influence economic outcomes, albeit to a lesser extent. The results underscore the importance of balancing technological advancements with effective regulation and trust-building initiatives to optimize the economic potential of healthcare systems. By offering a nuanced understanding of these interrelated factors, this study provides valuable insights for policymakers, healthcare providers, and technology developers aiming to maximize healthcare’s economic efficiency and equity in an increasingly digital landscape.
