Therapeutic Advancement of Stem Cell Therapy in Atopic Dermatitis Kishanta Kumar Pradhan, Rojalin Samanta, Reechik Bandyopadhyay, Arnab Seth, Chowdhury Mobaswar Hossain Stem Cell Therapy in Dermatological Disorders, 2025 Atopic dermatitis (AD) is an unrelenting seditious dermal condition provoked by immunological, ecological, and hereditary conditions that can result in mutilation and sensitivity to the epidermis. Disparity among T H 2 (T helper 2) and T H 1 cells and the genetic modifications put into the pathogenesis of AD lead to persistent inflammation and disease development. Stem cell treatment has come forth due to its resurgence and immune-modulation characteristics. Different types of stem cells, vis . mesenchymal, induced pluripotent, and embryonic stem cells, provide promising therapeutic activity using immune inflection, control of cytokines, and tissue recovery. Notwithstanding heartening consequences in preclinical and early clinical studies that facilitate future translational research, numerous tribulations endure, including regulatory barriers, ethical predicaments, and immunological refusals. Stem cell treatments have been improved through modern strategies such as gene-edited stem cell and exosome-based therapy. This chapter put forward an inclusive study of stem cell treatment, research aspects, ethical inferences, and further prospects in AD.
