  • Enhancement of Electrochemical Performance of CuO/rGO/Incorporated PVDF Nano-Composites in Stable and Efficient Application of Supercapacitators
    S. Parthiban, G. B. Mohankumar, R. Senthilkumar, S. Sam Karthik
    Chemistryselect, 2026
This investigation observed at preparing and investigating nanocomposites of copper oxide (CuO)/rGO@PVDF to determine their suitability for application in supercapacitors as electrodes. Analysis by FTIR showed that Cu‐O bonds are present around the region of 500 cm −1 . A size of 42 nm was found for the crystallites using the Debye Scherrer formula. The peaks in the XRD appear to be being generated by the monoclinic CuO. The finding implies that the material exhibits pseudocapacitive characteristics. It is evident from the SEM that the rGO sheets have CuO nanoparticles spread symmetrically. Samples imaged under the TEM indicated that the rGO had CuO nanoparticles that measured 20 nm. Results from EDX analysis confirmed 70% of carbon (C), 19% oxygen (O) and 10% copper (Cu), with 5% chlorine (Cl). The Raman spectra of rGO revealed a high number of defects, since the intensity ratio of the D band at 1350 cm −1 and G band at 1600 cm −1 was 1.18. Electrochemical analysis found that the material provided the same high cycling stability over 10,000 cycles, as confirmed by a specific capacitance (SC) of 180 F g −1 at 0.2 A g −1 going down to 50 F g −1 and the material retaining capacitance at over 90% of original. As a result, the study develops CuO/rGO@PVDF nanocomposites which may be selected as a suitable alternative in building high‐energy storage devices. This investigation proposes a CuO/rGO incorporated PVDF nanocomposite in which PVDF is not only used as a binder but also as an active structure that contributes to the improvement of the mechanical stability and durability of the electrochemical activity. The combination of the pseudocapacitance of CuO and the double‐layer capacitance of rGO in a flexible polymer matrix makes this particular arrangement potentially insightful into the creation of stable and high‐performance electrodes to the next‐generation supercapacitors. We propose to make the first contribution by making PVDF a working electrochemical matrix, which hosts both CuO and rGO and provides a pathway between binder and actor to the long‐life and high‐performance supercapacitors.

Proceeding of International Conference on Computing Communication Control and Cyber Physical Systems I5cps 2026, 2026
In high-performance power conversion systems, maintaining stable output voltage and low harmonic distortion under varying load conditions poses a critical challenge — especially in three-phase inverter designs. This paper proposes an intelligent modulation control strategy for a Three-Level Dual-Buck Inverter utilizing a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) to predict and adaptively tune the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) parameters in real time. The system architecture incorporates a dual-buck inverter topology known for its shoot-through immunity, reduced switching losses, and improved power density. Traditional controllers often struggle to respond quickly to sudden load variations. To overcome this, the proposed approach leverages an RNN to model temporal patterns in load demand and inverter behaviour. The current approach utilizes historical trajectories of phase voltage, load current and inverter states to form predictive relationships in the form of recurrent neural networks (RNNs). The resultant predictions are used to directly adjust the modulation index or duty cycle to guarantee a steady transient response and strong steady state operation. By sheet, MATLAB/Simulink were used to formulate the control loop and simulate it. A pulse-width modulation scheme (PWM) that allows space (dispersed) essence of sinusoidal PWM (SPWM), space-vector PWM (SVPWM) or space-vector discontinuous current PWM (DSVPWM) is formulated in bringing in the RNN predictions. This broader objective is to minimize the level of the total harmonic distortion (THD) and to enhance the power regulation.

The Solar-Based Rocker Bogie Rover is a cutting-edge, IoT-capable robotic vehicle built for efficient transportation in unseemly landscapes. The device utilizes solar energy via a solar panel that harvests energy from sunlight in the form of electrical energy stored within a battery to provide an ongoing supply. The voltage sensor also keeps a watchful eye on the state of the battery for effective power handling. ESP32 microcontroller is the processor hub that maintains real-time sensing information and directs many components. An ultrasonic sensor is used for detecting obstacles so that the rover can move safely without colliding with anything. A motor driver controls the speed of the motors so that it can move in any direction with accuracy. The rocker bogie mechanism offers better stability and flexibility on rough terrain, which is ideal for planetary exploration and off-road use. A servo motor changes its angle according to distance information, which improves maneuverability for difficult terrain. IoT integration supports remote monitoring and control, offering real-time energy consumption, battery condition, and navigation route data. The rover also has a modular design, making it customizable to suit specific uses, e.g., space exploration, military reconnaissance, and search and rescue operations. Future improvements can be the use of AI for navigation and more sophisticated environmental sensors to enable better performance under harsh conditions.
