Optimised route selection for multipath routing in MANET using latent encoder coupled generative adversarial network Surulivelu Muthumarilakshmi, Hemanand Duraivelu, Manikandan Subramanian International Journal of Bio Inspired Computation, 2025 Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) enable decentralised communication in environments without traditional infrastructure, such as disaster zones and military settings. However, they face challenges like high latency and energy inefficiency in route selection, affecting overall network performance. To address this, an optimised route selection for multipath routing in MANET using latent encoder coupled generative adversarial network (LECGAN-RS-MR-MANET) is proposed. Initially, the tyrannosaurus optimisation algorithm (TOA) is employed for efficient route exploration, followed by LECGAN for optimal node selection through latent feature learning. The improved sooty tern optimisation algorithm (ISTOA) ensures effective route maintenance, while the multitask multi-attention residual shrinkage convolutional neural network (MMRSCNN) handles route recovery. The proposed LECGAN-RS-MR-MANET is evaluated and demonstrates 23.92% lower energy consumption, 24.92% lower end-to-end delay, and 22.42% lower routing overhead compared to existing techniques. These findings confirm that the proposed model significantly improves routing performance and reliability in MANETs.

Diagnosis of leukemia disease based on enhanced virtual neural network K. Muthumayil, S. Manikandan, S. Srinivasan, Jos�Escorcia-Gutierrez, Margarita Gamarra, Romany F. Mansour Computers Materials and Continua, 2021 White Blood Cell (WBC) cancer or leukemia is one of the serious cancers that threaten the existence of human beings. In spite of its prevalence and serious consequences, it is mostly diagnosed through manual practices. The risks of inappropriate, sub-standard and wrong or biased diagnosis are high in manual methods. So, there is a need exists for automatic diagnosis and classification method that can replace the manual process. Leukemia is mainly classified into acute and chronic types. The current research work proposed a computer-based application to classify the disease. In the feature extraction stage, we use excellent physical properties to improve the diagnostic system's accuracy, based on Enhanced Color Co-Occurrence Matrix. The study is aimed at identification and classification of chronic lymphocytic leukemia using microscopic images of WBCs based on Enhanced Virtual Neural Network (EVNN) classification. The proposed method achieved optimum accuracy in detection and classification of leukemia from WBC images. Thus, the study results establish the superiority of the proposed method in automated diagnosis of leukemia. The values achieved by the proposed method in terms of sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and error rate were 97.8%, 89.9%, 76.6%, and 2.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the system could predict the disease in prior through images, and the probabilities of disease detection are also highly optimistic.
An Efficient Technique for Virtual Machine Clustering and Communications Using Task-Based Scheduling in Cloud Computing C. Saravanakumar, M. Geetha, S. Manoj Kumar, S. Manikandan, C. Arun, K. Srivatsan Scientific Programming, 2021 Cloud computing models use virtual machine (VM) clusters for protecting resources from failure with backup capability. Cloud user tasks are scheduled by selecting suitable resources for executing the task in the VM cluster. Existing VM clustering processes suffer from issues like preconfiguration, downtime, complex backup process, and disaster management. VM infrastructure provides the high availability resources with dynamic and on-demand configuration. The proposed methodology supports VM clustering process to place and allocate VM based on the requesting task size with bandwidth level to enhance the efficiency and availability. The proposed clustering process is classified as preclustering and postclustering based on the migration. Task and bandwidth classification process classifies tasks with adequate bandwidth for execution in a VM cluster. The mapping of bandwidth to VM is done based on the availability of the VM in the cluster. The VM clustering process uses different performance parameters like lifetime of VM, utilization of VM, bucket size, and task execution time. The main objective of the proposed VM clustering is that it maps the task with suitable VM with bandwidth for achieving high availability and reliability. It reduces task execution and allocated time when compared to existing algorithms.
Energy Efficient Active Slot Neighborhood Discovery Protocol Using Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm M. Jeyakarthic, S.Manikandan Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Inventive Systems and Control Icisc 2020, 2020 The wireless sensor network’s neighborhood discovery is a tedious process, with incomplete information. In a dynamic situation where each node has an independent wake upcycle its hard to discover the neighbor without any correlation in their wake-up time. By utilizing the information from the donor node and by pro-active waking up on active slots, high energy is being utilized up. This phenomenon will still worsen when the number of nodes still increases. To eliminate this situation the energy-efficient active slot neighborhood discovery protocol is designed using the grey wolf optimization algorithm. The simulator performance discussed with the existing algorithm shows a drastic improvement in discovery latency by 30% and residual energy by 50% than the ordinary active slot-based neighborhood discovery algorithm.

But energy constrained nature of WSNs demands that their planning and interactive protocols to be designed in an energy aware manner. This paper proposed to make a trend analysis reports on the major perspectives of fuzzy based distributed energy efficient clustering techniques. The most representative fuzzy based clustering techniques describes, deliberated and qualitatively analyzed. In particular the proceeds of different distributed clustering are analyzed with respect to their implication performance and application circumstances. This analysis aims to deliver suitable guidance for system architects to evaluate and select appropriate fuzzy based distributed clustering techniques for their specific application.
