Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism (DAU) of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) and Permanent Professor in the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at the Fluminense Federal University (PPGAU-UFF). Holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the Institute of Urban and Regional Research and Planning (IPPUR) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), a Master's degree in Architecture from the Graduate Program in Architecture (ProArq) at UFRJ, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from UFRJ (2000). Also holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Co-leads the Research Network Group "Coastal Cities and Tourism" (CILITUR).
