Dr. Juarez Antonio Simões Quaresma (MD, PhD) is a Full Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) with expertise in infectious diseases (pathology, immunopathology and public health) with several papers published in international journals in the field of public health of infecctious diseases, pathology of infectious diseases, immunopathology of infectious diseases, infectious immunodermatology. Graduated in Medicine in Federal University of Pará/Brazil in 1996 presenting a thesis histochemical in iNOS in Central Nervous System. Pathology and Histopathology Specialist Qualification, presenting a thesis based on a review of various systems of histological assessment of liver viral infections (2000, Catolic University of Campinas/Brazil). PhD in Pathology “mechanisms immune response in yellow fever hepatitis” (2003, Facult of Medicine/São Paulo University - USP/Brazil). It acts as scientific journals reviewer to several journals as Immunobiology, and others.
