BAGATI SUDARSAN PATRO

Dr. Bagati Sudarsan Patro, Scientist, IMD, Ph.D. in Extreme Weather Prediction using AI and specializes in extreme weather, cloudbursts, and nowcasting to minimize casualties. His research examines hilly, urban, and rural cloudburst (CB/MCB) contrasts, impacts, and early prediction methods. He has extensive experience with AWS, RVR, polar instruments, geomagnetic surveys, observatory setups, and Antarctic expeditions, applying AI/ML for advanced weather prediction and operational meteorology.
