Eight Error Correction for (57,29,17) Quadratic Residue Code Over Binary Field P. Shakila Banu Communications on Applied Nonlinear Analysis, 2024 This paper introduces novel parameters and presents a method- ology for identifying the necessary syndrome indices required to compute the unknown syndromes within the context of the (57, 29, 17) quadratic residue code. By determining the resulting index sets, the unknown syndromes can be computed, subsequently leading to the derivation of the corresponding error-locator polynomial through the application of a de- coding algorithm.
