Marlon Breno Zampieri Lima

Was a founding member and mentor of the Synthetic Biology Club "SynBio Club" In UFScar (2018-2019). Was also a member of the silver medal-winning team at the International Competition for Genetically Engineered Machines (iGem) in Boston-Massachusetts (2019). In 2022 completed an internship at the company DNA Consult - Genética e Biotecnologia, acquiring experience in the areas of molecular diagnostics, bioinformatics, genomic curation of human SNPS and corporate environment. Was a professor of Biology at the Pre-Entrance Course at UFSCar - São Carlos (2017-2022).

EDUCATION

Bachelor in Biological Sciences from Centro Universitário Claretiano de Batatais - CEUCLAR (2014) and Biotechnologist from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar. From 2018 to 2020 developed two voluntary Scientific Initiation periods, genotypically analyzing virulence profiles, biofilm formation and the phenomenon of microbial resistance to antibiotics in nosocomial superbugs. Have interest in bioinformatics, metagenomics, human and microorganism genomics, and scientific communication. Was a FAPESP Technical Training Fellow (2022 / 14958-0) at the Blood Center of the University of São Paulo (USP) - Ribeirão Preto hub. Is currently a master's student in the Postgraduate Program in Clinical Oncology, Stem Cells and Cellular Therapy at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto-USP, analyzing the composition of the human blood virome in different conditions and levels of immunosuppression using metagenomic techniques.
