Rafael Vega Jiménez is a journalist with a solid track record in media, teaching, and writing. He holds a PhD in Journalism from the University of Seville and has complemented his training with master's degrees in Journalism Innovation and Audiovisual Business Management. He also completed a summer residency at the Reuters Institute at the University of Oxford.
In academia, he is a professor at EUSA (University of Seville) and CIEE, where he teaches subjects related to communication and journalism. He has also been a visiting professor at international universities (West Virginia University, IULM Universitá di Milano).
In the media, he has worked for over 20 years at Canal Sur TV, where he has served as a news presenter and editor, as well as hosted sports programs. He has also collaborated on Canal Sur Radio and presented the program Total Running on Discovery Max.
As a writer, he has published 8 books on running, sports, and travel.
