Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, U.P. India

Presently I am serving as Professor and HOD in Department of Zoology, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, and Gorakhpur and providing my service regularly since 2001. I have done research work on toxins purification, antibody production, vaccine immunotherapy, stem cell therapy and cancer.
I am working on purification of animal toxins, its toxicity determination and neutralization by using polyclonal antibodies in animal models since last 24 years. 14 students have been awarded Ph. D under my supervision. Four more students are doing their research work for obtaining Ph. D degree working in different areas of interest i.e. control of garden and forest termites by using different plant based formulations and evaluation of antimicrobial action of plant natural products in vitro cultures.

I have published more than 230 international publications covering 61 different international journals and 3 book chapters, delivered more than 27 invited lectures at seminars and conferences.

EDUCATION

I have pursued Bachelor of Science in 1986 and Master of Science in 1988 in Zoology with first division from Agra University, Agra. I also completed M. Phil from Agra University, Agra in year 1990. I have Ph D degree in Insect Biochemistry Research on the Topic "Cholesterol absorption in locusts" in Dec. 1997 from University of Delhi under joint registration with National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi. 110067.
