Pandemic model for HRM: Assessing the impact of work culture, work ethics, and work satisfaction on employee performance Rashmi Singh, Preeti Tarkar Ethical Quandaries in Business Practices Exploring Morality and Social Responsibility, 2024 The present study aims to examine the factors of work culture, work ethics, and work satisfaction that affect employee performance during pandemics, based on which study will draw some recommendations for the organizations to frame an appropriate pandemic model of HRM. The study is based on secondary data: the literature review done with the help of journals, books, and articles. The results suggest that other than innovation, the changes done to all other factors had negatively affected employee performance. Instead of focusing on a particular pandemic situation, the study collectively contributes to all the referred past pandemics scenarios. Moreover, the factors of work culture, work ethics, and work satisfaction are the three most crucial elements of an organization that have not been studied together, having implications on employee's performance during pandemic circumstances.

Moreover, with the help of quantitative data, we have analyzed the effect of ESG on high-growth business strategy. Method: A quantitative study was conducted for the test of hypothesis for which the data of 174 respondents was collected with the assistance of a self-administered questionnaire. The information was gathered from the IT companies of different states of India, and for the analysis of data, Correlation and multiple regression was employed with the help of SPSS. Result: The analysis of data has concluded that incorporating ESG from starting itself as a high growth strategy will give a huge boom to the young companies to establish themselves well and have a successful starting. It can be done through starting from the basics, Strengthening the core and Communicating the efforts. All three factors, environment, social, and governance, positively influence the growth strategies of young companies. Moreover, the governance factor was the strongest analyst of growth strategies in young companies, which means that the governance factor greatly influences the growth strategies of young companies. Limitations: The current study is specifically concentrated in India. It is consisted of three variables of ESG where more variables can be included in the scale for increasing the credibility of the scale in the future. Practical implications: The study will help the industries, especially young companies, focus on the ESG concerns as these factors are highly influential for the success and growth of the companies from starting. It has highlighted the easy integration of ESG from starting and embraces the idea of re-evaluating and redefining the strategies and functioning activities to progress and endure profitability. Originality: The study discusses the integration of ESG in young companies from the initial phase of the business, that is, a different from the past studies. Moreover, this is the first study in India concerning the given topic.
Impact of ethical leadership in HRM on employee's turnover intention post Covid-19 Rashmi Singh, Preeti Tarkar Brazilian Journal of Operations and Production Management, 2023 Goal: The paper aims to identify ethical leadership's efficacy in HRM and differentiate it from negative HRM leadership. Pandemic and post-pandemic challenges are evident, which can destabilize an organization, so we need to develop a business-ethics perspective on leadership for HRM. Method: For the study, the data of 120 manufacturing companies' employees from Uttar Pradesh has been collected. The analysis of data has been done with the help of simple linear regression and T-test through SPSS. Results: The research on the concerned issue and critically reflects on negative leadership issues that arise post-Covid-19. The analysis results have concluded that there is a positive impact of ethical leadership on employee turnover intention post-covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh, and there is no significant difference in the perception of male and female respondents towards turnover intentions post-covid-19. Limitations: The study is a small-scale study consisting of 120 employees from manufacturing companies; for future research, the data can be collected for conducting a large-scale study. Pratical implication: The study will be helpful for organizations to know about the impact of covid-19 on HRM and will lead to creating an understanding of the need of developing ethical leadership in HRM to deal with the turnover intentions of employees at the time of crisis. Originility: There has been various previous studies which talk about the employees turnover intentions during covid-19, while there is no previous literature available which states about the turnover intentions of employees post covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh, India. Moreover, the study is discussing the situation from an ethical perspective which is an addition to the existing literature.
