This paper addresses the design and construction of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for image classification with specific reference to apple leaf disease identification. The architecture of the model consists of a number of convolutional, max-pooling, and dense layers and is trained using an Adam optimizer with an exponential learning rate decay. To make the training dataset more diverse and reduce the chances of overfitting, other techniques in addition to rotation and zooming, horizontal flipping were also applied. The dataset was split into training, validation and testing datasets in the ratio of 80-10-10 so as to have a fair evaluation of the model. It is important to note that the loss functions curves achieved a stable convergence during the training which suggested that learning was effective. The classification performance of the model was assessed using precision, recall and F1 score which shows that it can successfully classify images of apple leaf diseases. The findings of this study point to the effectiveness of CNN in addressing issues in agriculture providing an effective model to automate the process of disease diagnosis in apples.
  • Image-Based Breast Cancer Diagnosis Leveraging Convolutional Neural Networks
    S. Ramana, Ramana Murthy, N. Bhaskar, T. Santhosh
Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing and Intelligent Information Systems Icuis 2024, 2024
The most frequent and most rapidly expanding disease in the world is breast cancer. A wide range of instances of breast cancer involve women. Breast cancer can be effectively managed with early detection. Several instances have been solved using early research, significantly reducing their fatality rate. Several studies have been performed concerning breast cancer. Machine learning is the most frequently used research method. The study examines a recommended approach that employs various developments in convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to detect breast cancer, in addition to additionally examining the results using machine learning (ML) methods. Increasingly specific and accurate models for the identification and treatment of this disease have been developed and generated, possibly through developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence methodologies. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) using MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) are frequently employed to detect and avoid breast cancer. Additionally, the detection techniques have been helpful in detecting cells with cancer.
  • A model for multi-attack classification to improve intrusion detection performance using deep learning approaches
Arun Kumar Silivery, Ram Mohan Rao Kovvur, Ramana Solleti, LK Suresh Kumar, Bhukya Madhu
    Measurement Sensors, 2023
This proposed model introduces novel deep learning methodologies. The objective here is to create a reliable intrusion detection mechanism to help identify malicious attacks. Deep learning based solution framework is developed consisting of three approaches. The first approach is Long-Short Term Memory Recurrent Neural Network (LSTM-RNN) with seven optimizer functions such as adamax, SGD, adagrad, adam, RMSprop, nadam and adadelta. The model is evaluated on NSL-KDD dataset and classified multi attack classification. The model has outperformed with adamax optimizer in terms of accuracy, detection rate and low false alarm rate. The results of LSTM-RNN with adamax optimizer is compared with existing shallow machine and deep learning models in terms of accuracy, detection rate and low false alarm rate. The multi model methodology consisting of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Long-Short Term Memory Recurrent Neural Network (LSTM-RNN), and Deep Neural Network (DNN). The multi models are evaluated on bench mark datasets such as KDD’99, NSL-KDD, and UNSWNB15 datasets. The models self-learnt the features and classifies the attack classes as multi-attack classification. The models RNN, and LSTM-RNN provide considerable performance compared to other existing methods on KDD’99 and NSL-KDD dataset.

There has been rapid advancement in networks and technology over the past few years, and Internet service providers are now available anywhere in the world. The number of thefts has increased, and many current systems have been breached. As a result, the need for creating information security technology to spot new attacks has grown significantly. An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) combines machine learning and deep learning algorithms to discover network abnormalities, is an essential information security technology. The central concept of this study is to find the elusive assault bundle by using a high-level intrusion detection system with high network performance. Likewise, in this approach, the attack detection is completed. The proposed system has shown that empowering brings incredible precision.
  • Internet of Things for Green Smart City Application Based on Biotechnology Techniques
    N Bhaskar, S Ramana, G. Mahesh Kumar
Proceedings of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Discovery in Concurrent Engineering Iceconf 2023, 2023
Recent developments in hardware and software have led to a proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices (such as smartgadgets, Intelligent Cameras, Self Driving cars, etc.), making IoT devices and their applications ubiquitous in today's information society. But because IoT lets different kinds of devices connect and talk to each other, it creates a huge amount of data that needs to be processed and stored. The Industrial Revolution was a watershed moment in human history, a catalyst for economic growth that altered global patterns and the way people lived. The era of the intelligence-driven information revolution has finally come. The future of fields like biotechnology and medicine is bright thanks to rapid technological development, widespread access to the internet, and The Era of Big Data Has Arrived. IoT enables the automation of R&D through the use of The use of cutting-edge smart sensors, smartphone-based instruments and devices, and seamless networking. Technologies such as Data storage and sharing in the cloud, analytics on large amounts of data, embedded sensors, smart wearable devices, eco-friendly computers, data mining, biomedical imaging, intelligent algorithms, healthcare informatics, and so on are all examples. are all utilised by IoT -based digital health. To facilitate the gathering, storage, transfer, and analysis of large data sets in real time, the IoT facilitates healthcare mobility solutions and systems in the cloud. Disease diagnostics, Treatment of Patients From a Distance, improving clinical procedures, creating a “green smart city,” controlling inventories and livestock, and simplifying data administration are all hampered by the IoT, hastening the period of the digital revolution.

Mobile commerce, which began in ancient times as the trade system, has grown in the ultramodern age due to improvements in technology, the Internet, the use of Financial Coffers, and the lives of mortal humans. There was a significant extemporization in the tackle industry and concurrent software development that led to a wide range of uses for computers and mobile phones. Ninety percent of people who take prescription drugs do so on handhelds, laptops, or cellphones, and the lives of mortals have been profoundly altered as a result of the smart operations available on mobile systems, which may be utilized at any time and from any location (Everything through one device). With mobile dispatching, so-called trade has been transformed into mobile commerce. Mobile commerce, or m-commerce, is a term used to describe all aspects of a possible marketable commercial agreement that are carried out over wireless or mobile networks, such as text messaging and email. Mobile Commerce tackles the mobile bias of electronic commerce, where the customer does not view any product that is being purchased physically. Mobile Commerce He has just a virtual representation of the thing being purchased. As a consumer and as a producer, the advantages of mobile commerce are vast, but there are also many challenges and security considerations that are keeping many mobile druggies from making the leap. Despite the adoption of several cryptographic security techniques and communication protocols, there are still a few ifs and buts. Three-Level Gateway Protocol for Secure M-Commerce Deals is presented in this paper, which uses any conventional or public-crucial algorithm and the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP), an open standard for passing messages between operations or associations, and an Encrypted OTP in the payment process to ensure confidentiality of da and to prevent Replay Attacks, Man in the Middle Attacks, and Masking attacks of Cryptography systems.
