  • Static Mode Testing of S-20 Optical Streak Camera
Ankita Mangalmurti, Jankee Upadhyay, Sudhir Kumar, Rajesh Arya, Anjana Jain, Preeti Trivedi
    IETE Journal of Research, 2024
The spectral response of the S-20 streak camera ranges from 350 to 850 nanometers. The streak camera consists of a streak tube and an image intensifier tube followed by a CCD camera. The optical streak camera can be operated in three modes viz. static mode, gated mode, and dynamic mode. In static mode, various electrodes are checked by applying suitable DC voltages For this purpose, a high-voltage biasing network is developed. Gated mode operation is introduced to improve signal-to-noise ratio. So, the Micro Channel Plate (MCP) of the image intensifier tube will be activated with the gated signal.

Proceedings 2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks Cicn 2016, 2017
Now a day the wide access of smart phones and other mobile devices demand their connectivity with good coverage in cellular communication. However, the small cells such as picocells and femtocells are newly introduced in HetNet, have complicated network topology and interference environment, because of that we are facing new challenges in network modelling and design. In recent studies, with the help of Poisson point process (PPP)-based Base station model, performance analyses were carried out accurately and tractably. In this proposed work the uniform and non-uniform small cell deployment is studied, and the coverage probability of these scheme is compared. Here it is found that in non-uniform deployment scheme, coverage is good as compare to uniform deployment by considering their relative locations with macrocell Base Stations.
  • Rate optimize power allocation and relay selection for MIMO two-way cognitive relay networks with multiple relays using AF strategy
    Akhilesh Kandariya, Preeti Trivedi
IEEE International Conference on Computer Communication and Control Ic4 2015, 2016
The following paper investigates the secondary sum rate of MIMO two-way cognitive relay networks with multiple relays using amplify and forward (AF) strategy. The capacity of the system can be maximize by using optimum power allocation (OPA) algorithm in place of equal power allocation(EPA) among all nodes, while assuming that all node having fully channel state information (CSI). It has been considered that MIMO cognitive relay with spectrum sharing and cooperative strategy between node to maximize the secondary sum rate and enormous use of the spectrum. Our aim is to maximize the secondary sum rate and efficient spectrum use. MIMO relay is going to use amplify and forward relay technique means relay is not decode the signal received from the secondary user's. Result shows that this technique is increasing the secondary sum rate without using extra power and spectrum.

Ravi Foogooa, Chandradeo Bokhoree, Kumar Dookhitram
2015 International Conference on Computing Communication and Security Icccs 2015, 2016
A lot of effort is still required in greening ICT and the use of ICT to green organisations. However, Green ICT initiatives are hard to sustain. In this context, Green ICT maturity models help by providing a benchmarking tool and a roadmap. However, several Green ICT maturity models have been proposed by different researchers over the years with no clear justification. This makes it difficult for companies to choose which Green ICT maturity model to adopt. This research aims at comparing the different Green ICT maturity models. This could help companies manage their Green ICT initiatives in a more sustainable way. It will analyse the evolution of Green ICT maturity models and provide cues for further research in this area.
  • The signal to noise and distortion ratio for sigma delta ADC for SDR 3G/4G mobile receivers
    Preeti Trivedi, Ajay Verma
Proceedings of SPIE the International Society for Optical Engineering, 2013
In this paper, we propose a Simulation for the test of SNDR (Signal to noise and Distortion ratio) in Sigma Delta ADC for SDR 3G and 4G mobile Receivers. Now a days, SNDR is one of the most important parameter which directly effects the performance of ADC. Simulation results show the Capability of the simulink to obtain SNDR for a 8 bit and 10 bit audio Sigma delta ADC. SNDR of ADC will always be less than SNR. The simulation model of second order Sigma Delta ADC is given in the paper. The SNR and SNDR have been taken into account.
  • Characterization and optimization of sigma-delta ADC
Preeti Trivedi, Ajay Verma, Pritish Tripathi
Asian Himalayas International Conference on Internet, 2012
This paper addresses the design of a fourth-order multi-bit sigma-delta modulator suitable for Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) receivers with feed forward path and the optimum coefficients were selected using genetic algorithm (GA)-based search method. In particular, the proposed converter makes use of low-distortion swing suppression SDM architecture which is highly suitable for low oversampling ratios to attain high linearity over a wide bandwidth. The aim of this paper is the identification of the best coefficients suitable for the proposed topology in order to achieve the desired signal-to-noise ratio. GA-based search engine is a stochastic search method which can find the optimum solution within the given constraints.
  • Comparative assessment of WiMAX scheduler in fixed and mobile WiMAX networks for VoIP using QualNet
Isha Khirwar, Anjulata Yadav, Preeti Trivedi
2010 International Conference on Computer and Communication Technology Iccct 2010, 2010
The IEEE 802.16 standard, defining the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) for Metropolitan Area Network (MAN). The IEEE 802.16 standard, includes specification for the Medium Access Control (MAC) and Physical (PHY) layers, is designed to serve all kinds of traffic. The standard is equipped with signaling and bandwidth allocation algorithms that can accommodate many connections with a variety of QoS requirements at one Subscriber Station (SS). Popularity of Voice over IP (VoIP) application such as Skype, Google Talk and MSN Messenger is making VoIP over WiMAX an attractive market and a driving force for both carriers and equipment suppliers. In this paper Point-To-Multipoint (PMP) mode of WiMAX scenarios package is evaluated using the Qualnet simulation tool. A detailed simulation study was carried out for some scheduling algorithms such as WFQ, Round Robin, WRR and Strict Priority, analyzing and evaluating the performance of each scheduler to support UGS, RTPS and ERTPS types of QoS class for VoIP application. Performance metrics reported in this work are average throughput and average end-to-end delay. In addition, this paper also shows that VoIP application can be best served with ERTPS QoS class.
  • Effect of timing jitter on sigma delta ADC for SDR mobile receiver
Poornima Raikwar, Preeti Trivedi, Jaya Dipti Lal
2009 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology Icetet 2009, 2009
Jitter is the limiting effect for high speed analog-to-digital converters with high resolution and wide digitization bandwidth, which are required in receivers in order to support high data rates. The rapid development of digital wireless system has led to a need of high resolution and high speed analog to digital converter. The performance of a data converter is dependent upon the accuracy and stability of the clock supplied to the circuits. When data converter employ a high sampling rate, clocking issues become magnified and significant distortion can be result. This paper describes minimizing the effect of Timing error such as aperture jitter and clock jitter on the performance of sigma delta ADC Model and Present analytical evaluation of the performance in terms of achievable signal to noise ratio and also draw mean error power spectrum due to aperture jitter and clock jitter.
