Predictive Analytics for Overtourism Management and Destination Resilience G. SudhaAnanthi, T. C. Manjunath, Pankaj Singh Chandel AI Driven Strategies for Sustainable Guest Experience in Intelligent Hospitality, 2026 In the contemporary landscape of smart cities, large-scale events, retail complexes, transportation hubs, and entertainment venues, understanding and predicting visitor flow is critical for optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing safety, improving customer experiences, and supporting strategic decision-making. Data-driven visitor flow forecasting models leverage a combination of historical data, real-time observations, and advanced analytical techniques to predict patterns of human movement, congestion points, and occupancy levels. These models integrate data from multiple sources, including ticketing systems, IoT sensors, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth tracking, GPS-enabled devices, social media activity, and environmental factors, providing comprehensive insights into visitor behavior at both macro and micro levels.Historical data analysis forms the foundation of visitor flow forecasting. By examining past attendance patterns, seasonal variations, weekday versus weekend trends, and special events, predictive models identify recurring trends and baseline behaviors.
Implementing AI in Heritage Tourism: Balancing Access and Preservation G. SudhaAnanthi, T. C. Manjunath, Pankaj Singh Chandel AI Driven Strategies for Sustainable Guest Experience in Intelligent Hospitality, 2026 Cultural heritage represents the cumulative legacy of human creativity, history, and identity, encompassing tangible artifacts such as monuments, museums, archaeological sites, and historical architecture, as well as intangible elements like traditions, rituals, and folklore. Preserving and promoting heritage while ensuring broad accessibility is a significant challenge in an increasingly globalized and digital world. Physical visits are often constrained by geographic distance, travel costs, physical mobility limitations, and environmental or socio-political factors. (Ayeh et al., 2013). AI-powered virtual tours for remote heritage access offer a transformative approach, combining artificial intelligence, 3D modeling, immersive media, and adaptive learning technologies to enable interactive, personalized, and highly engaging cultural experiences for audiences worldwide. These systems democratize access to heritage, enhance educational outcomes, foster cultural appreciation, and support sustainable tourism while minimizing environmental impact on fragile heritage sites.

Environmental sustainability and employee participation R. Sethumadhavan, Sajimon P. P., P. Selvakumar, Seema Gendraj Kadu, Pankaj Singh Chandel, Sandeep Gupta Green Leadership Strategies for Increased Employee Engagement and Performance, 2025 Greening the workplace has become a critical aspect of corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability, reflecting a growing recognition of the need to mitigate the ecological impact of business operations. Central to this endeavor is employee participation, which plays a pivotal role in advancing and embedding sustainability practices within organizational cultures. Engaging employees in environmental initiatives not only fosters a more sustainable work environment but also enhances the effectiveness of green strategies and promotes a sense of collective responsibility. Employee participation in environmental sustainability initiatives encompasses a wide range of activities and contributions, from day-to-day operational changes to involvement in broader strategic planning. One of the most fundamental ways employees can contribute is through adopting sustainable practices in their daily work routines. This includes reducing energy consumption, minimizing waste, and conserving resources.
Reconstruction and preservation strategies for cultural heritage Manpreet Kaur, P. Selvakumar, N. Dinesh, Mohit, Pankaj Singh Chandel, T. C. Manjunath Preserving Cultural Heritage in Post Disaster Urban Renewal, 2025 Cultural heritage reconstruction and preservation encompass a broad range of practices aimed at safeguarding the historical, architectural, and intangible elements of our shared past. This field recognizes the significance of cultural heritage not only as a testament to human creativity and resilience but also as a vital component of identity for communities and nations. As societies evolve, they face numerous challenges, including urbanization, climate change, conflict, and neglect, which threaten to erase invaluable cultural artifacts and sites. Thus, the importance of reconstructing and preserving these elements becomes paramount. The practice of cultural heritage preservation involves meticulous documentation, restoration, and conservation efforts, often relying on interdisciplinary approaches that blend history, archaeology, architecture, and art conservation. Musealization and tourism practices Ansuman Samal, Lalat Indu Misra, Mohit, S. Pougajendy, Pankaj Singh Chandel, T. C. Manjunath, P. Selvakumar Preserving Cultural Heritage in Post Disaster Urban Renewal, 2025 Musealization refers to the process by which objects, artifacts, and cultural practices are transformed into museum-worthy exhibits, thereby gaining new significance within a broader social and cultural context. This concept is rooted in the recognition that the representation of history and culture in museums goes beyond mere display; it involves a complex interplay of selection, interpretation, and meaning-making. The evolution of musealization is intertwined with the development of museums themselves, which have evolved from private collections and cabinets of curiosities in the Renaissance to dynamic institutions that aim to educate, engage, and reflect contemporary societal values.Historically, musealization began in the 17th and 18th centuries with the establishment of early museums that collected natural history specimens and artistic works. As the concept of the museum evolved, especially during the 19th century, the democratization of access became a driving force.
AI and environmental ethics: The role of AI in addressing climate change ethical considerations in AI-driven environmental solutions A. Soundariya, Niyati Kumari Behera, P. Selvakumar, Pankaj Singh Chandel, Sandeep Gupta, T. C. Manjunath Human Values Ethics and Dignity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, 2025 The intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and environmental ethics represents a critical and increasingly relevant area of inquiry as technology advances and environmental concerns escalate. AI, with its transformative potential, offers substantial benefits for environmental management, including enhanced data analysis, predictive modeling, and optimization of resource use. For example, AI-driven tools can enhance climate modeling, predict natural disasters, and optimize energy consumption. In agriculture, AI can be used to monitor crop health, manage water usage, and reduce waste through precision farming techniques. Additionally, AI applications in environmental monitoring can detect pollution levels, track wildlife populations, and support conservation efforts. These capabilities offer the promise of more effective and data-driven approaches to addressing environmental challenges and achieving sustainability goals. The benefits of AI in environmental management may not be evenly distributed across different regions and communities.
Leading and managing in the public sector: Navigating challenges and opportunities P. Selvakumar, Pushpalata S. Patil, Pankaj Singh Chandel, Naresh Babu Karunakaran, Parihar Suresh Dahake, T. C. Manjunath Public Governance Practices in the Age of AI, 2025 Public sector leadership is a complex and multifaceted domain, crucial for the effective functioning of government and public institutions. Leaders in this sector are tasked with navigating a labyrinth of challenges and opportunities that require a blend of strategic vision, managerial skills, and a profound commitment to public service. Unlike their counterparts in the private sector, public sector leaders operate in a context defined by political dynamics, public accountability, and a mandate to serve diverse constituencies with varying needs and expectations. One of the foremost challenges in public sector leadership is the inherent political environment. Public leaders must operate within a framework of political influence, where policies and decisions are often subject to the ebb and flow of political cycles. This environment can complicate decision-making processes, as leaders must balance political pressures with the need to implement effective and equitable policies. The need to maintain political neutrality while advocating necessary changes presents a significant challenge
