Experimental Photo-physical Chemist, working at the interface of photophysics, chemistry, and biology to utilize the potential of biopolymers as sustainable biomaterials for applications ranging from renewable energy to biotechnology. My recent research interests are focused on photon upconversion via triplet-triplet annihilation and sustainable solar concentration in protein-based materials for biophotonics, biotechnological, and photo pharmacology applications
