Energy-Efficient Sleep Wake-Up Mechanism Based Routing Protocol Using Siamese Network and Optimized Fuzzy Interference System in Green IoT Nitin B. Raut, S. Thangavelu International Journal of Communication Systems, 2025 The proliferation of multiple battery‐powered sensors under the Internet of Things (IoT) requires the development of sustainable and energy‐conscious protocols. However, various energy‐efficient mechanisms are developed, but those mechanisms are not much accurate and they have energy loss, transmission collision, and threats to security due to increased data redundancy. To address these issues, the energy‐efficient fuzzy‐based sleep wake‐up mechanism (EEFSWM) was created. Sensor nodes are randomly initialized at the beginning, and the clustering algorithm used is the evidential Gaussian mixture model (EGMM). The cluster head is selected by taking into account each node's energy and distance. To choose the ideal energy and distance, golden jackal optimization (GJO) is employed. The Siamese network is then used to determine whether or not neighbor nodes are perceiving the same data. It computes a similarity measure if it finds related data. The node moves into the sleep stage, while the other nodes go into the waking stage when the similarity measure value surpasses the threshold value. After that, the sleep cycle is computed with a few parameters using the fuzzy inference system (FIS). The node awakens after the update cycle has finished, then joins the clustering and cluster head selection process. This proposed approach attains 7.99‐J average residual energy, 84% packet delivery ratio, 2.64% throughput value, and 1105‐s network lifetime.

The primary focus lies in automating vital tasks like crop disease detection, crop recommendation, and fertilizer suggestion, which are traditionally laborious and time-consuming for farmers. Leveraging recent advancements in ML algorithms, a comprehensive solution is envisaged. This innovative approach involves the integration of sophisticated models into a user-friendly website, creating a seamless user experience. Through this platform, farmers gain access to automated tools that significantly enhance their crop management strategies. The platform provides a comprehensive solution by combining deep learning-based crop disease detection mechanisms, intelligent crop recommendation systems, and effective fertilizer recommendations derived from machine learning algorithms. This combination of technologies helps farmers maximize their overall crop yields and minimize losses caused by diseases in addition to streamlining farming procedures. The synergy of ML, and DL on a unified web interface stands as a testament to the transformative power of technology in agriculture, marking a pivotal step toward sustainable and efficient farming practices in India.
Green Internet of Things (IoT) with dynamic sleep wake-up approach for constrained things B. Raut Nitin, N.M. Dhanya Measurement Sensors, 2023 Energy consumption has now become a big deal to ensure the dependability of the IoT. Therefore, minimization of energy consumption is the biggest challenge in IoT architecture. IoT devices are supported with constrained parameters like battery, memory as well as computing. This paper gives a depth analysis of battery-powered things and their green implementation with dynamic Sleep, Wake-up approach based on a decision-making process supported by highly specified data analysis. The proposed method is based on an Energy-Efficient Cluster Head-Based Sleep Scheduling Mechanism (ECHSSM) for efficient Sleep, Wake-up monitoring with dynamic changes in time duration. The architectural prototype for the application scenario for humidity and temperature is studied. The implementation of the model is done by the Cooja simulator. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is examined using some parameters, such as the lifetime of the network, packet delivery ratio, energy consumption, battery level, and delay characteristic. The proposed technique improves the network lifetime by 11.95%, 7.59%, and 3.83% better than EEHC, LEACH, and cloud-IoT integrated models.
An Extensive Survey on Audio-to-Text and Text Summarization for Video Content Nitin B. Raut, A.S. Pranesh, B Nagulan, S Pranesh, R Vasantharajan 3rd International Conference on Innovative Mechanisms for Industry Applications Icimia 2023 Proceedings, 2023 This literature review examines evolving trends in audio-to-text and text summarization techniques applied to YouTube video content. With the rapid expansion of online video platforms, the demand for efficient transcription and summarization of multimedia data has grown significantly. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of current methodologies, algorithms, and tools for converting audio content to text, highlighting the intricacies of speech recognition technologies and their applicability in various contexts. Additionally, the survey explores text summarization techniques specifically designed for YouTube videos, including both extractive and abstractive methods. It assesses their effectiveness in condensing lengthy video transcripts into concise and coherent textual representations. Special emphasis is given to NLP (Natural Language Processing) algorithms and ML (Machine Learning) models that aid in extracting essential information while maintaining contextual relevance.
Image Processing and Pattern Recognition-Based Car Classification for Intelligent Transportation System V. Dange, S. Pophale, N. Raut, F. D. Shadrach, S. Chowdhury, G. Ramya, P. Dutta Iet Conference Proceedings, 2022 The combination of car model classification and accelerated advances in computer vision appears to have the potential to significantly revolutionize automated transportation systems. Pattern recognition and image processing-based car classification methods have been proposed in recent years to improve the performance of smart highway toll collection and monitoring of traffic systems. Unfortunately, all these algorithms are trained on a inadequate number of features derived from tiny datasets, which do not considered for real-time road traffic circumstances. To address these difficulties, proposed system presents a classification model for vehicle based on convolutional neural networks to enhance the resilience of car classifier model in real-time applications. To achieve real-time robustness in classification systems, this proposed system offers a Stanford car dataset of 16,185 images classified into 157 common vehicle classes. To begin, the car dataset was trained using Inception-v3, VGG16, and ResNet50 to evaluate their accuracy based on performance. As a result, a comparative study was carried out to assess the effectiveness of the proposed system.

GR is the innate approach of Human. A Hand Gesture Recognition System to identify factual instant shrug in churned up environments. It will identify a rift of hand gestures. How to make out the silhouette gesture for novel human-computer interface exclusive of controller required instantaneous hand gesture detection system by using shape milieu toning. The shape context is taken as a source portrayal for shape matching. It can be regarded as a universal depiction descriptor to symbolize the distribution of points in a set with scale and rotation invariance. User could intermingle with computer program by performing body gesture instead of physical contact. The image of hand gesture was captured. The hand gesture image was transformed into proper instruction according to the shape information respectively. The purpose of this evaluation is to establish the meadow of shrug recognition as a mechanism for interface with computers.
