Optical Sensing-Driven Urban Safety and Infrastructure Monitoring System for Smart Cities Dilmurod Nasimov, Nurali Arabov, Mokhinur Makhmudova Optical Sensors and Distributed Sensing Innovations Techniques and Applications, 2025 Infrastructure and security are two integral parts of smart cities, but globally cities today still have issues with decaying infrastructure, transportation, security threats, and effective response to emergencies. The traditional approaches of monitoring fail to integrate current data and dynamic responses, hence problems like delayed maintenance, emergence of unsafe conditions, and traffic control surface. In response to these problems, this paper presents the innovative technology solution DVIF-PSS for Dynamic Visual Infrastructure Feedback and Public Safety, which utilizes optical sensors and imaging and AI/machine learning for enhanced, real-time observation of the urban environment and public safety. The system integrates the use of optical multi-spectral cameras installed around the city to identify any structural changes in various structures, forecast maintenance requirements, and identify any dangers before they occur. At the same time, the system provides AI-assisted monitoring of public safety in real-time based on crowd density, facial recognition, and anomaly detection methods for prevention of accidents, crowd control, and detection of possible security threats. Augmented reality (AR) increases engagement by displaying layered important facility and safety information for maintenance crews, authorities, and citizens. With the machine learning models incorporated for analytical prediction functions, the system changes real-time traffic patterns, provides measures against accidents, and ensures safer routes for pedestrians and cyclists. The proposed solution also combines blockchain to verify data consistency and immutability across all systems. Thus, the DVIF-PSS outlines a revolutionary concept of the smart city application that integrates real-time information processing, intelligent forecasts, and public involvement to enhance the security of the urban area, as well as optimize its operation. Therefore, this system of management of infrastructures consequently contributes to increasing the sustainability of global cities, Infrastructure and security are two integral parts of smart cities, but globally cities today still have issues with decaying infrastructure, transportation, security threats, and effective response to emergencies. Dynamics of transformation and economic resilience in agricultural lands: an anthropogenic perspective Jurabek Namozov, Nurali Arabov, Xamid Aduramanov, Dilmurod Nasimov, Mokhinur Makhmudova, Lutfullo Ibragimov E3s Web of Conferences, 2024 The article provides information about the changes in agricultural lands in the Samarkand region as a result of anthropogenic influences and their consequences. In particular, the composition of agricultural land and its territorial characteristics and the negative changes occurring in them were scientifically analyzed. Types of agriculture give the amount of land resources, and they are grouped according to the level of impact. The salinity level of land resources, the impact on the regional economy, and soil erosion were calculated in absolute and relative indicators. The region’s pasture livestock situation, that is, the number of cattle, sheep and goats per hectare of land, and its impact level, are presented at the level of regional districts. The level of anthropogenic pressure on agriculture, especially pasture lands and livestock capacity, was calculated on the example of livestock industries and grouped by regional districts. In the concluding part of the article, the issues of rational use of pasture land are scientifically analyzed, and suggestions and recommendations are given for optimizing livestock capacity.
SHAPING THE FUTURE OF UZBEKISTAN'S TOURISM: AN IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS OF INFRASTRUCTURE INFLUENCE AND STRATEGIC PLANNING Nurali Arabov, Dilmurod Nasimov, Bekzot Janzakov, Komiljon Khomitov, Gulnarakhan Utemuratova, Dilshod Abduraimov, Baxit Ismailov Journal of Eastern European and Central Asian Research, 2024 This article presents a comprehensive assessment of the impact of infrastructure on tourism, exploring its crucial role in shaping the tourism industry. Through expert methods and survey analysis, the study highlights the quality of infrastructure by assessing the development level of transportation, accommodation, tourist attractions, amenities, and tourism services in Uzbekistan’s 14 regions. As a result, the classification of regions with regard to infrastructure development is proposed. In addition, an equilibrium equation in the tourism market concerning infrastructure facilities is suggested, which can be used to assess the balanced development of general infrastructure. The findings underscore the need for policymakers and stakeholders to recognize the direct correlation between infrastructure and tourism success, providing insights to guide future infrastructure planning and development initiatives in the ever-evolving global tourism landscape.
