Design and Performance Analysis of a Wheel-Shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna for Multiband Applications Muvvala Kalpana, Pavada Santosh, Lalith Kishore K, Ramana Reddy R, Kishore Babu Gubbala 4th Wireless Antenna and Microwave Symposium Wams 2025, 2025 This paper investigates the design and performance metrics of circular patch antenna with slots and defected ground structure (DGS) are optimized for multiband and broadband applications. The study evaluates various antenna configurations based on bandwidth, axial ratio (AR) bandwidth, and gain. The proposed wheel shaped antenna is suitable for multiband applications with operating frequencies of 2.59-3.39 GHz, 5.11-5.78 GHz, 7.01-7.58 GHz, 8.00-8.42 GHz and 8.94-11.44 GHz with a bandwidth of 800 MHz, 670 MHz, 570 MHz, 420 MHz and 2.5 GHZ respectively and 4.7 dBi peak gain is obtained. Simulations are carried out using HFSS.
SLOTTED CIRCULAR PATCH MIMO ANTENNAS FOR MULTIBAND AND UWB APPLICATIONS Arpn Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, 2024 In this paper, a defective ground structure (DGS) based 2-port and 4-port circular patch antennas with rectangular slots (CPRS) is presented. The proposed CPRS MIMO antenna with quadrilateral DGS delivers ultra-wide bandwidth (UWB) and multiband frequencies. The 40mm x 40mm x 1.6mm CPRS MIMO antenna operates in the frequency band of 4 GHz to 20 GHz. The 4-port CPRS MIMO antenna uses three frequency bands for operation with a bandwidth of 360MHz, 1.21GHz, and 1.15GHz. With the introduction of DGS, the bandwidth increases to 3.44 GHz, 2.01 GHz, and 5.73 GHz, and peak gain is increased to 6.9 db. Other performance characteristics observed are ECC < 0.04, DG > 9.99, TARC is -27.5 dB, and CCL < 0.275 bits/Hz/sec. Simulations are performed in ANSYS HFSS EM solver.

The advanced locking system ensures the protection of delivered goods during transit, addressing security concerns. GPS navigation optimizes routes for efficient last-mile deliveries, reducing overall delivery times. Customer authentication adds an extra layer of security, allowing only the designated customer, equipped with a unique authentication method, to unlock and retrieve their parcel. The integrated camera system provides continuous monitoring throughout the delivery process. The combination of these features showcases technological innovation and also addresses critical aspects of security and customer trust in autonomous deliveries. The successful integration of these features positions the delivery robot as a reliable and customer-friendly solution for the evolving landscape of last-mile logistics.

This design offers an eco-friendly and effective solution that aims at redefining lawn care. By lowering reliance on fossil fuels, green energy usage promotes sustainability. During operation, an integrated collector accumulates grass clippings, streamlining trash management. This discovery unlocks the door for intelligent, user-friendly robotic grass cutters that can navigate obstacles by utilizing cutting-edge technologies, ushering in a new era of automated and sustainable lawn care.
Hexagonal Hybrid DRA Circularly Polarized Antenna for Multiband Applications D. Shobha Rani, V. Harini, M. Kalpana, R. Ramana Reddy 2nd International Conference on Wireless Antenna and Microwave Symposium Wams 2023, 2023 In this work, a hybrid structure containing a hexagonal microstrip patch antenna with hexagonal rings loaded with a Dielectric Resonator (DR) is presented. The length of the hexagonal patch and DR is 10 mm. The height of Al2O3 ceramic DR is 7mm with an overall dimension of the proposed antenna of 51x45x1.6 mm<sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</sup>. The proposed antenna operates over multiple frequency ranges resulting in bandwidths of 30MHz (4.38–4.41 GHz), 230MHz (6.99-7.22 GHz), 100MHz (7.84–7.94 GHz), 650MHz (9.82–10.47 GHz), 110MHz (11.31–11.42 GHz), 70MHz (12.04–12.11 GHz), 340MHz (12.33-12.67 GHz) and 150MHz (13.03–13.18 GHz). The peak gain of the antenna is observed to be 6.61 dBi at 10.28 GHz and circular polarization characteristics are observed over the multiple frequencies ranges with a bandwidth of 210MHz (6.73-6.94 GHz), 100MHz (7.22-7.32 GHz), 90MHz (9.16-9.25 GHz), 140MHz (9.67-9.81 GHz), and 130MHz (11.42-11.55 GHz). Using bent microstrip line feed, two orthogonal modes are created resulting in CP radiation. The proposed antenna is suitable for C, X, and Ku band applications. The simulations are carried out using HFSS software.

The proposed antenna dimensions are 32×34×1.6mm<sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</sup>. An octagonal patch antenna incorporating two square slots offering a peak gain of 9.48dBi at 18GHz. Incorporating an octagonal slot at the center of square slots resulting a multiband with a bandwidth of 190MHz (8.69GHz to 8.88GHz), 350MHz (11.52GHz to 11.87GHz), 360MHz (14.01GHz to 14.37GHz) and 1 .99GHz (16.01-18GHz) with a peak gain of 9.89dBi at 18GHz. The simulations are done using ANSYS HFSS software.
Circularly Polarized Split Cylindrical Dielectric Antenna for Wireless Applications Kalpana Muvvala, R. Ramana Reddy 2022 IEEE Wireless Antenna and Microwave Symposium Wams 2022, 2022 In this paper, conversion of conventional probe fed cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna with linear polarization (LP) in to a circularly polarized dielectric antenna have been proposed. The two orthogonal modes are generated with a split along the line joining the centre to the edges of the cylinder by creating asymmetry. The proposed antenna has a resonance frequency of 4 GHz with a gain of 5dBi, a Return Loss (RL) bandwidth of 660 MHz (3790-4450 MHz) and Axial Ratio (AR) bandwidth of 200 MHz (3950-4150 MHz).

Ramana Reddy Proceedings 2022 International Conference on Computing Communication and Power Technology Ic3p 2022, 2022 A Circular patch antenna with rectangular slots (CPRS) and Defected Ground Structure (DGS) is presented in this paper. The even and uneven rectangular slot areas are considered. Better performance is obtained for the antenna with even slot areas. The CPRS antenna is a multiband antenna operating in three frequency bands with a bandwidth of 350 MHz (11.02 GHz – 11.37 GHz), 1.07 GHz (13.64 GHz – 14.71 GHz), and 1.54 GHz (17.59 GHz – 19.13 GHz) with 6 dBi peak gain. Adding DGS improves the bandwidth and gain making the antenna useful for UWB applications. With the introduction of DGS to the proposed CPRS antenna, frequency bandwidth of 3.10 GHz (4.98 GHz – 8.08 GHz) and 8.51 GHz (11.49 GHz – 20 GHz) with 6.9 dBi peak gain is obtained.
