Marcos O. Bezerra is a Full professor at the Department of Sociology and Graduate Program in Sociology at UFF, Rio de Janeiro. He is a 1-D Fellow Researcher at CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) and his areas of interest include studies on politics (political representations and practices, personal relationships, political trajectories); domination modes (state, major economic projects, ideologies); corruption and exchange relations.

EDUCATION

He received his Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the National Museum, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1998) and was a postdoctoral researcher in the École Normale Superieur (2003) and École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (2014).
