Holds a Ph.D. in Physics from UFSM (2007). Currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Leads the Magnetic and Semiconductor Nanostructures Group (GNMS) and the Laboratory of Physical Properties of Ceramic Materials (LaPFiMC), both at UFRN. Collaborates with the Smart Surfaces Group at the University of Minho (Portugal). Supervises master's and doctoral students in the Graduate Programs in Physics and Materials Science and Engineering at UFRN. Coordinates and participates in national and international research projects. Has expertise in Experimental Physics and ceramic materials, focusing on Magnetic Materials, Magnetic and Electrical Properties, with emphasis on topics such as thermomagnetic effects, magnetization dynamics, magnetic multilayers, FMR, GMI, magnetic thin films, magnetron sputtering, electrical properties of ceramics, and low-damping parameter systems.
